I didn't think about the spare when I bought our 2017 Prime. Just got a flat Friday, luckily my wife had just got home and heard a hiss. I took the tire off and had it repaired. I used the tools from our 2002 Highlander.
I had a nail in one tire just a year after we bought it. Still had the free assist, I was only 1 mile away from the dealer! They towed it there for free and fixed it.
I have a 2004 Prius and the donut tire fits the 2017 Prime so I'll put that in the back when driving some distance. With the spare in the back there is not much room. I saved one of the tires when they wore down and plan to get a rim from the junk yard when I get some time.
I wonder why they don't have spares?
I hate agile. Our morning standup goes on for an hour sometimes. 30 people on the call. Some giving play by play of their day, how many meetings etc. Then another dev standup in the afternoon which can go for 2 hours. Then code reviews, retrospective and refinement sessions. End up spending so much time in meetings. PM is not technical at all and has no clue, so we have to explain everything to her, most of the time the lead calls her separately not to waste our time. Then at the end of the day the PM wants a status report. I have a new manager and he now wants a weekly status report. My old manager I would only speak to me a couple times a year, he would talk to the lead regularly to make sure all is going well.
It's always hurry, hurry, hurry, so much tech debt now. We bring it up that things need to be refactored but it gets ignored.

I bought a Seiko digital LCD quartz watch in 1982 when I was in college and it still keeps good time. I did have to repair and and I could still get parts. Wore it until 2003 when the LCD turned black after I was wearing it weedeating, too much virbrations I guess. I replaced the LCD a few years ago. I had bought a solar Pulsar quartz watch in 2003 and wore that for about 15 years, still works.
The ZeroCovidCommunity is a place where people who are passionate about reducing the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and protecting those who are at high risk can come together with a shared vision for the future. We are here to discuss the pandemic and politics, share info, and support one another. Individual mitigations can be a forced response to a lack of systemic solutions, but it is the latter that should be the main subject of activism. Engineering is better than hate.
