I have a really good deal on rent right now that I would be insane to give up - cost of living is so high anywhere I’d like to move. I’d be paying like triple the rent I am now if I moved. My job is not possible to work remotely because most of the time I’m doing service calls or going to pick up/drop off stuff at client locations.

I’d also never see my family, which I’d feel super guilty about.

I do see friends sometimes but it burns me out socially now. After work, I want to do nothing but relax by myself. Not sure what hobby I’d be passionate about, right now my hobby is speedrunning a game which is fun, I really enjoy doing it but I just do it by myself, obviously. I’m not trying to argue with you, I’m just thinking out loud.
