Pigeons! They’re super friendly and sociable and don’t have a lot of the problems parrots have. If you want something that won’t fly, quail! Quail are super small and don’t need much space.

I’m also the child. They would never fight in front of me, but when they would be aggravated I would feel like I had to walk on eggshells to avoid conflict. Once I moved out for college they separated and divorced. I remember being 8 and wondering when they would divorce. I don’t wish that kind of childhood on anyone.

It depends on what your HOA says about your yard/garden. Some HOAs take care of everything outside the home, I’d just double check before you make any further moves.

And finals depend on if your professor does finals before designated finals days, or if your prof doesn’t even give finals. The school also gives out a schedule so you can determine when your finals are. All classes follow that schedule, the teachers can’t change the time but they can give accommodations if you ask (not a guarantee though).

I am/was going through this. The parent I mourn is still alive, but we will never have a relationship until they understand how what they did, said, treated me, treated others, affected me. It will never happen, and I mourn that I have never and will never have that sort of familial relationship with them. It’s affected me in more ways than I can count, and OOP has a hell of a therapy journey ahead of them.

I have a relative with autism like this. They are big, destructive, and dangerous. They are near uncontrollable, and often pick at their head/hair/scalp until it bleeds. It will only get worse for the ex-wife and the younger child if they don’t get the help and assistance they need.

Much more mentally draining. You’ll want at least one time period between your EGR CHM and PS classes just in case you have a test or homework. You’ll definitely want to keep up with your work, and after four really rough classes you’ll be so mentally drained. Use ratemyprofessor to help determine the best schedule for you. Preferred schedule: at least one time period between classes, and the best rated professor you can get. With math/sci classes, a good professor is better than a good schedule.

Applying this logic to dogs would be like comparing a broiler to a pug, or a bully breed with a not great quality of life. These birds aren’t designed to be able to live, they’re designed to die. Once they reach slaughter age their quality of life is so massively decreased it would be humane to put them down. To a person who knows the proper conformation and looks of well-bred chickens, that’s where the ick comes from.

Very packed especially for your first year, but I don’t see any glaring problems with this schedule. Check with ratemyprofessor to make sure if your profs are good. Especially with engineering classes, you want the teacher that best fits your learning style. You’ll have a pretty busy Wednesday if you keep this schedule, but it looks doable!

Ignoring the red light isn’t a good move, especially if you’re in ROTC (unless it’s a joke, I’m not good at reading tone over text). Also if I remember correctly, the parking rules state that blue lots between 4pm-6am can be used as blue/yellow/green lots so that should ease your parking struggles.

Going between buildings isn’t bad, but try to find another MA that doesn’t have you booking it across the street to make it to class on time. On a side note, COM 223 is really fun and totally worth it. Cheers!

Don’t have class right after pt, and if possible don’t have a class right before your AF 101. If you can’t get out of class in time, you’ll have a fast hike to the Det and that’s no fun.

Don’t take a class for about 1-2 hours after morning drill/pt to give yourself a chance for food, shower, and a short rest. Distance between the Lehman building, CoB, and CoAS isn’t that bad, can easily be done in 10 minutes. Don’t have a class right before your AF 101, you will need extra time to get across the bridge. Don’t be afraid of T/Th classes, or after 5pm classes. I honestly prefer them, but use ratemyprofessor to choose which classes to take. Especially for your EGR/CHM classes you will want a good prof. Good luck!
