Now someone is going to publish a book that makes people's heads implode as soon as they see the title and there will be no way to stop it in Illinois. Some books are just too dangerous!

Guess what their Paycheks are getting funded from ...
Doesn't really make a diff

Their paychecks were paid regardless of the wrong doing occurring. It makes no difference monetarily to the taxpayers if the money comes directly from the cops.

How the F is this comment getting upvotes. It reads like this guy doesn't understand the concept of money.

What are you talking about? Maybe you can't read? If the money comes directly from the cop it doesn't matter to the taxpayer because the cop was paid regardless of the wrongdoing. If the money comes from the department/municipality then it's likely the tax burden goes up or the municipality has to cut from some other service.

Thats what you are focusing on? Its like you saw him in the court room and everyone gasps and you're just like "Oh my god.....I thought he was slimmer." I can just see this being an arrested development scene lmao.

Sorry probably not appropriate in this thread, but it came to mind.

Reusable water bottles are great!

Still a lot of plastic that's never going away.

There are glass and unlined steel water bottles for sale. They usually have plastic in the lid, but the impact of a little bit of hard plastic where it will serve it's purpose for years and is less likely to shed microplastics isn't that big. There's durable plastic all over water fountains and plumbing systems too.

Right... right... what's a cubit?

The length from your elbow to the tip of your middle finger.

Your foot is the same length as your forearm from your elbow to your wrist.

So a cubit is just a foot + a hand.

I think the comparison to livestock says a lot more. You can't come with a conclusion we need less people without sounding a bit genocidal because how do you get there? But maybe we eat less meat and save the planet that way.

We could also raise animals in ways similar to their ancestors/relatives natural habits. We didn't pull domesticated animals out of a vacuum. They can fit in healthy ecosystems.

There is not nearly enough space to run agriculture like that. Running livestock like that would require more land area than exists in the entire inner solar system.

North America had more wild bison than it has cattle now.

20 minutes of sun is all you need. Save your money.

In the northern half of the US you literally cannot get vitamin d from sunlight November through February. Can still get sunburned though.
