AMD Radeon RX 7600 8GB graphics card spotted in Asian store - VideoCardz.com by Stiven_Crysis in Amd

Pretty sure that'll be the 7700 XT, or maybe it'll have 48CU's like some rumors suggested.

Yes, but in this case, they aren't having a 28CU Navi 33 part, so the 7600 or 7600 XT would always be 32CU's. They chose to break precedent and called it the 7600. Thus, it will be cheaper than if it was called the 7600 XT.

How do you know the 4060 will be 299 though? Its going to have 3060 TI ish performance, I'm expecting it to be like 360 or more.

Yikes. I will say he has acknowledged that his content was initially fairly reactionary/toxic and has grown past a lot of this.

3600 was at launch as well. What I meant is that AMD will upbrand or downbrand a product based on how its priced.

For example, the 8 core Zen 3 MSRP they wanted was 450, so they chose to call it the 5800X, as it would be the named successor to the 3800X. (Yes I know the 3800X was bad value, just explaining the strategy).

With Zen 4, AMD realized they needed to be more competitive with the 8 core, so they called it the 7700X instead of the 7800X and reduced the MSRP by 50.

Personally, I think it's because they realized the N33 part needs to be priced so low that it isn't worth making an inferior cut down version of that.

And they chose the name 7600 to signal that it will priced aggressively.

Those may have been CPUs, but AMD has employed this strategy before with them. With Zen 3, they had the 5600X and 5800X as the only Ryzen 5 and 7's at launch, and they were pretty much priced the same as the 3600X and 3800X MSRP's + 50 bucks or so. With Zen 4, they realized they needed to price more competitively for the 8 core, they went with 7700X instead.

Here’s a new map by myself and Bullet2thehead9 that will be dropping on the 20th of this month. It’s a remake of “Abandon” from Halo 4! by WorkNegative219 in halo

My issue with them is that due to Halo's longer kill times, maps have to be fairly well integrated with long sightlines. And to make players move out of power positions, Halo used power weapon and power up placements.

Halo 4's maps were two types. Sprawly with many segmented areas, which led to matches being kind of stally without Objectives (Adrift reminded me a lot of Sword Base in this regard). The other was more akin to classic Halo design, but not having as many weapons on map led to players camping power positions.

Exile was great.

Adrift had a lot of the same issues Sword Base had (too segmented, so no flow to the match), but with a more horizontal layout. I think 343i realized this which is why they added in the gravity lifts. I think Adrift and Sword Base really shined in objective modes that force players to be on the move.

I personally hated getting caught on things on Abandon, and it could get stally in Slayer due to the middle being so high relative to the rest of the map. Whichever team spawned by bases had an advantage to (or maybe they both spawned far out) One Flag and Oddball were really good on it, though, which reminds me of High Ground.

Haven was good, although Blue Team had a huge advantage at launch when the colors were muted.

Meltdown was really fun and my favorite map in the game, but it felt like it's weighting was really low in matchmaking. I'm pretty sure I played more matches on Skyline than it, even though Syline was a DLC map.

Longbow was really fun, although I think could use a different weapon layout to get people to stop holding bases.

Ragnarok and Vortex were also both pretty good, although vehicles were a lot worse on the former than they were in Halo 3.

Halo 4 also liked to use maps that were perfect for 6v6 as a way to give content for both 4v4 and 8v8, but imo it didn't work out.

Solace and Complex were a little too big for 4v4, but were way too cramped for BTB. Both were fun in CTF 5v5/6v6 and the sniper fights were tense.

I think Halo's maps are built around using power weapons to encourage movement. With personal ordnance, loadouts, and random drops, players were incentived to find the controlling points and stay there.

As for DLC, Majestic and Castle were great. I think Monolith/Skyline were a little small but shined in Doubles. Seriously, good luck capping a flag on either of those maps without slaughtering the other team 4 times due to sprint.

I didn't like any of the maps in Crimson. Harvest had Solace/Complex syndrome, but I think it could be really fun, sort of like a more integrated Rat's Nest. I liked Wreckage but I don't think I played it much. I don't even remember Shatter.

Halo 4 clearly made some huge compromises to get there though. 3 and Reach had the best balance.

Halo has always been a blend of both. It's taken inspiration from Starship Troopers and especially Aliens.

I think Reach used it because of the low framerate but yeah it's hard to go back to on original hardware. It cleans up nicely though on MCC.

Or maybe show his face in the last couple seconds of season one or something, hinting that season 2 would focus on his background?

Sort of like what Mandolorian did.

TBH, Star Wars creators adding something goofy almost as a tongue in cheek slap to core fans isn't exactly new.

I honestly feel like Lucas and Disney do stuff like this on purpose because they dislike how seriously people take it.

Also hated how you carried your weapon lowered but it still blocked a huge amount of the screen.
