Urban dictionary excels for this very moment

Chinese driver hit crowd on the street, throwed money in the air and claimed his uncle was a senior CCP official. The event caused 5 dead and 13 injured. The vids were later censored on Chinese Internet. by biewenwoshishei2 in ThatsInsane

Anyone else remember this? That was one of my favourite spots.

Yeah I was in Shanghai 4 years and felt pretty safe. Same for any Tier 1 city I went to. You hear a lot of stories about how there's kidnapping, gangs, etc the more rural you go but as nothing is accurately reported you put it with a grain of salt.

You personally will see a lot of DV, distracted driving, drink driving, and other shit though.

It’s the lack of seeing where they are in servers easily and not being able to play 3v3 that does it for us. May as well play games that actually allow for it.

Nothing but regrets buying this for a friend on console thinking we could play together in arenas but instead have to go on dead standalone servers. Before standalone we had to time our queues to hope we would end up on the same server.

First revision is going through editorial for the bulk. With the train strikes we're opting to aim for a quick jitsi call instead of in person. Less than ideal but I'd like to move ahead with this sooner rather than later.

When can we play with friends on console so we can play arena 3v3 together? It's the best mode.

Yup, I'm cleared to write about this for Windscribbles but will be back with updates for all once its edited and done. I've had a brief chat with a few people relating to the person in question as he's now outside of China and in a better position to come forward.

Can't say more than that just yet but I'm on it :D

Ah, God damn it. Here's mine.

Until now I had always believed that they were stickers of A'Tuin like how school eMacs had that big apple sticker on it.

I'd say most likely a useful idiot in the West though seeing as that alt links to Wuxia novels & they're into "harem" as a genre. So they are probably just romanticising about China.

Weird, might have been a smaller channel that unfortunately they got pressured then they just deleted to keep their head down. I got one of those little "visits" for something I wrote that was barely anything at all.

CCP enforcers have glass hearts for sure.

Most likely anyone who's been in China since 2020, as it's pretty common knowledge for us.

If you say so mate.

I was referring to the two people going through spamming that there's no longer video when there was but they couldn't figure it out. As well as misrepresenting what I've said. Everything I have to say currently is in the thread. Whatever you say but it would still be a #rule 1 breaker so that's why I went to a mod.

I don't particularly think anyone has targeted me in particular but China related threads are heavily botted but sure if you say they don't I guess it's all clear. Glad those several hundred thousand Wumao in operation avoid Reddit in particular.

Sorry you're salty about there not being a direct source for an incident for something in mainland China. I get the feeling though you'd be more happy with a CCP state media source though.

See you next week.
