Sugar is like a drug and it’s probably (in part, of course your situation isn’t easy) what’s making you feel this horrible. When you binge eat sugar it makes you want to binge eat more sugar, and the cycle continues day after day, the more sugar you eat the more you want to eat. Not only does this mess with your hormones (making you feel tired and drained which is probably affecting your mental health) but also messes with your gut microbiome which has been shown to affect mental health. I know it seems impossible to change these habits especially with your situation being as difficult as it is, but the truth is you need to start taking care of your body to fix your mind. It will be hard at first, but just know that the harder you work (ie the less sugar you eat and the more healthy food you eat) the easier it will get to eat less sugar. Exercising can also help, it seems like more work shouldn’t be the answer but trust me, speaking from personal experience the harder I worked the easier it’s become to work hard and I’ve been much happier when I eat healthy. Part of that is placebo but placebo or not I know I am happier now then when I was eating junk food all day not too long ago, and I had the same thoughts of “why go on when this is how good life is?” But it doesn’t have to be this way, if you focus on self improvement you will become happier and more fulfilled, it’s a well known theory in psychology, for example the Maslow hierarchy of needs, right now you need to focus on the bottom of the pyramid which is safety and security, a big part of that being good health. Taking care of yourself seems like too much work, it seems impossible like you explain how you look at your toothbrush but can’t find the motivation to use it, I understand that, when you are depressed the solution could be right in front of you but the depression keeps you from reaching out. That’s what it does, depression is where you’re unhappy with your situation and you accept it, becoming more sad until your brain decides to try to make you less sad by seeking whatever comfort it can, such as eating sugar, or lying in bed instead of brushing your teeth, but that’s because the brain doesn’t always know what’s good for it. For example if you are trapped in a burning building your brain detects that you are breathing in harmful compounds that will hurt the brain, so to “save” itself it makes you stop breathing it in and you will pass out. The brain doesn’t compute the fact that if it does this your body will die in the fire and therefore the brain will also die. So this example shows that the brain doesn’t always know what’s good for it, which is why you should recognize that it’s keeping you from doing activities that will help your depression because it irrationally believes that the solution is to seek comfort. The solution is to work harder and do the things your subconscious tells you it doesn’t want to do, and I know that’s easier said than done but the more self care and health improvements you make the happier you will be, and the easier it becomes to take care of yourself. I can confidently say that focussing on achieving the levels of the hierarchy of needs has made my life better and it can make yours better too, don’t give up

Yea, right, evade, thats good for her ult then she spams you with other abilities which do just as much damage, then her ult is back in 45 s or if they have extra special which is very common youre just screwed especially as goalie

I mean if you use it in the goalies crease its literally impossible to dodge without using evade, but then the ult is jut back up to do it again 20s later, and meanwhile they spam you with their other abilites on no cooldown

6 years later and the shuffle is still garbage, I’m so infuriated that there isn’t a fix for this besides “clear the cache” or restart the app, neither of which actually do anything. I have a playlist of 1000+ songs, yet I’ve heard this one song around 4 times this past week and another 2-3 times, other songs never even get played. It’s such a simple problem to fix too, yet these morons literally just can’t be bothered, it’s so insanely easy to set a random choice algorithm, but they don’t do it? Ridiculous that they charge these prices and can’t fix simple issues like this.

So to my understanding we sleep in 90 min cycles, and you want to wake up right after a cycle is finished, so if it takes me around 20 mins to fall asleep, and I want to sleep for 7 hours 30 mins/5 cycles, I should start trying to fall asleep 7 hours and 50 mins before the time my alarm is set for. So lets say I do this, my alarm is set for 8:30 AM and I start to close my eyes at 12:40 AM hoping to be asleep by 1:00 AM, but say I wake up at 8:05 AM. Does that mean I must have fell asleep a little bit before 1:00 AM and/or my cycles weren't exactly 90 mins long? So should I stay awake because I've already gotten a proper amount of sleep? Or should I go back to sleep for another 25 mins to finish the cycle? I'm basically wondering if it is possible to wake up naturally during a bad time to wake up, for example if I woke up during REM part of the cycle then it would be a bad idea to get out of bed because I would still be extremely tired due to melatonin release during that stage.

Title. I’m looking at purchasing blue light glasses so I can still use devices at night and fall asleep easier but they seem pointless if all wavelengths of light prevent melatonin release (which is what some Google searches suggest). I’ve seen people report that it has benefits for eye strain and other things but I don’t believe that at all, sounds like a marketing trick. I’ve tried googling this but results seem very inconsistent, some sites say all light affects circadian rhythm, some say blue light is the only wavelength that affects melatonin release, so I really have no clue. Has anyone used blue light glasses, and did they have any affect?
