Not following along just saw the vote and there’s two health options. I assume that one you saw them debate is the “Health diversion” option?

Generally decriminalisation comes with making it legal to grow your own cannabis plants for personal consumption. So it does have some effect on criminal gang’s money not sure about “a lot” or not though.
Effective because of their funding that Israel under Netenyahu started and then allowed to continue from places like Qatar specifically to undermine Fatah.

Sure no one is born informed!
Just remember for things like these 1. the internet is full of people looking for a fight. 2. in real life a non-binary person(or other similar minority) might have gone through a ton of malicious abuse and your innocent question or statement just lands at the wrong time and you get the negative reaction they’ve been holding in.

Loads of attempts have been/are still being made but they’ve never caught on with wider society. I don’t think anyone reasonable would consider you a dick for thinking that.
Part of why They/Them has caught on as “the” main non-binary pronoun set is just that singular “they” for when gender is no known or unimportant has existed in english since the 14th century. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singular_they

Looking at horrific images one after another does not give you a “real sense” of anything it just damages your mental health. It breeds anger and vengeance it does not help you communicate with others and it does not help you coordinate with others.
I have seen this and I have felt this.
On the small scale you see angry overreactions to people being (genuinely) ignorant of the situation. That doesn’t help people see your point of view.
And on the worst side of the scale we are seeing too many people radicalised to violence from these images with attacks on people just because they are Jewish and from people who only look at the results of Hamas’s actions people attacking people just because they are Muslim. Do not assume that you are immune to this, anger and hate can build up over time more than you think.
Or alternatively, for some people, it just uses up your energy. You look and look at them again until you just get burnt out and you turn away from the whole issue entirely and do nothing.
And on the reverse, looking at pictures of the “other side”’s dead often does not make you or the person you show them to be more neutral, unfortunately humans do not work that way. Our minds work to solve contradictions to us being on the “good” side and too often that leads to a belief that the victims must have in some way deserved it. You will have noticed this all over reddit from pro-Israeli people when presented with Palestinian victims.
What should you do instead, well solidarity feels good*. Join a protest or help organise one, learn about and participate in the BDS and spread the information about what people can actually do. If you have time join an organisation like the IPSC and help them out, though this will also use up your time and energy so make sure not to burn yourself out that way too.
*This can feel weird in itself to feel good when such horrible things are happening, but again you are helping nothing by just feeling bad so embrace that feeling.
