In transport planning there's currently a dichotomy between the old fashioned "Predict and Provide" which just results in more and roads and traffic and the new "Vision and Validate" where you decide how you want an area to actually be and then validate the outcomes.

I've not got any hard data, but I find it to difficult to believe that relative affordability hasn't changed. My grandparents stayed at home for a few years to buy a house, but were on the ladder by their early 20s, my parents were on the ladder by mid 20s, I was mid 30s. I'm sure I read that house prices to wages has also increased significantly.

I've also thought this for a while. Be proud of MK City. Honestly I don't see any negatives as no one really thinks MK Don's are Wimbledon FC anyway.
