Another reason to stop using Spotify.

IE: just sort them in the crafting menu the same way they are sorted in the placement menu!

Also I'd appreciate showing all possible items in the placement menu, just greyed out if you don't have any. If I see a thing that might work well I can go and craft it, instead of hunting through the crafting it to hope it looks right.

Also a preview window, but I suppose that's only really relevant while we're inexperienced with the system.

Ranger spear does have some nice big hits, but the cast time on #5 feels pretty clunky in PvE where having a cast time is irrelevant.

• I love having the auto-switch from melee cleave to range on the AA.

• The #2 feels pretty slow but I like the swipe-swipe (and potential crush if you've stealthed).

• The #3 is what gives me the most problems, especially with the rot monsters that will dash behind you. I feel like it also needs a melee/ranged swap rather than dedicated ranged with pierce.

• Warclaw leaping with #4 is nice, animation seems a little desynced from the damage but overall I like it. I would appreciate a little more range on it (for the rot monsters that dash super far away).

• The #5 is pretty okay now that you can reveal and still use your empowered abilities. Also the ammo being independent of the empowered #5 is huge for ever being able to use the 5x5. Like I said, the 1/2second cast time makes attempting a dps rotation really clunky, I'd really like it go to insta-cast just for PvE.

Also shout out to the juvenile warclaw on Soulbeast, it feels pretty good. F1 is a nice tracking leap with okay damage, F2 is a melee CC chunk, and it's still Ferocious!

The GW2 thief in PvP with zero kills but 90% of the team's capture point contribution. Someone's gotta win the game for the knuckleheads who want to fight.

Nah I've seen the bowling balls he was talking about, they were typically treated as a "kids' ball" because they were so much lighter. Same pins afaik.

Most of them are easier to avoid if you're melee though? 2 cones and 1 line, then the little circles that appear at range. Only one hard for melee is the leap into circle.

Probably kill another god.

Spelunky is still a super surprising entry though. My guess is they wanted a 2D platformer represented and worked backwards by crossing off difficult to obtain IPs. Mario is the big name in the genre but completely unobtainable, they got Megaman, the only others that got similar push might be Little Big Planet or Rayman? Then you have a bunch of popular indies like Celeste, Inside or Hollow Knight, might be thematic constraints there (if they want a bright Mario-like world). But Ori&the Blind Forest is a stand out that I would call for way before Spelunky.

Maybe they really wanted it to be cartoony, or didn't have the budget to do Ori style for very long.

12 years going strong. This expansion adds what is essentially player housing (instanced and unlimited) and spears on land as weapon options. New raid coming with a later quarterly update.

I was struggling to make the 25+25 work during 4winds because of all the bloodstone that Boss Blitz vomits on to you, the 60:1 will be nice to use up an imbalance.

Although I'll be using globs of dark matter for the foreseeable future...

If Riot doesn't like hooks shaped like nooses, why not use a standard J-shaped fishing hook rather than a pointed crane hook? Or use a 3-prong hook.

Yeah some of the shots they showed off were really neat, Angela at the mirror, jukebox with the rising sun mural, Laura turning then scene switch to Angela finishing the same turn.

Face capture in the Maria+James scene was fantastic too, the actors acted well and it translated to the game well.
