Political editorials, opinion pieces and social media bickering is referred to political subs, unless they are written by party officials or current government parties. Political news and exposé journalism are allowed. Serious political self-posts are allowed as long they follow other rules.
Make sure to censor all personal information. Personal information includes, but is not limited to, real names, phone numbers and email addresses.
Don't editorialize your title and keep it opinion free.
When submitting links to articles from news sources or other official outlets, use the original title from the source or a full direct quote from the article or the description, unless context makes it clear the purpose of your post is not a discussion about the content itself (e.g. for comedic effect).
The title should not construct its own interpretation of the articles.
Discuss the matter at hand and not the person responding to it.
Don't attack people on a personal level -- don’t call them names, imply derogatory things about them, or tell them to hurt themselves or others.
If someone personally attacks you, report it to us so we can deal with them; do not engage in the same behavior.
Don't contribute to a negative or unwelcoming environment by being racist or acting in an otherwise hateful manner
News articles older than 6 months must be marked with date in the title.
News articles reporting of ordinary violent crime are removed, but can be re-submitted as a self-post with some discussion basis/arguments. Exception for odd or comedic crime as well as crimes that attracted large national attention.
Don't shitpost and make sure to provide enough context for the post to be understood.
Please keep variations of generic template memes to r/unket, with exception of Fridays.
Posts should target a Swedish audience. International news from Swedish outlets and Swedish news from international outlets are permitted.
Posts regarding topics that already have stickied mega-threads should be posted there.
