Hi everyone!
I'm an Italian guy and lately on r/Italia many people have been raising questions about the climate change we've been experiencing in Italy over the past few months.
It's October and we still have temperatures around 30°C and it never rains. Today and tomorrow (7th and 8th of October), Florence will reach 31°C. Even in northern cities, like Milan, the temperature is between 28 and 30 degrees, which is truly astonishing. The same goes for southern cities: in Rome, Naples, and Palermo it's very hot and many people will spend this weekend at the beach.
This is an unusual situation for Italy, as in October the temperatures have always dropped (especially in the north) reaching around 15 degrees with a lot of rain. It feels as if we're still in summer.
I've decided to ask this question in many country subreddits to gather comments and opinions from people on the matter. You can find them by visiting my profile!
