I mean every situation is different. For instance, if someone makes a move to get into your house from your attached garage as they’re stealing while you’re on the outside and kids are on the inside, you’re going to have a better argument. They can’t actively “flee”. Pulling into a driveway is not something you can threaten someone over unless it’s a van and people pop out with masks. Uber drivers, Uber eats, Amazon workers, any kind of delivery really can and will use your driveway and it may even be a mistake. People fail to realize you don’t HAVE to answer your door for someone you didn’t expect, but you can’t take your piece and use it from outside your home (castle) if you’re not matching the level of threat.
