The 3 films they had ready to go were Solo, Obi, and Boba but they shelved these after Solo didn't do very well even after being shot twice with a big director. They probably shouldn't have done Obi and Boba either. Besides the fan service of seeing these actors in the roles, there wasn't anything that enriched the story lore or improved the IP. I feel like out of all the films they could be doing, Blade needs a reboot the least. If they want to have ground level heroes and diverse characters there's lots of avenues unexplored or maybe those who need a better shot at it than a franchise that had a pitch perfect hero and 3 high profile projects
