“Anti-grooming” Texas Republican resigns after plying teen with alcohol & allegedly raping her. The married "anti-grooming" crusader allegedly gave the teen so many rum and cokes that a state committee found she couldn't consent. by southpawFA in politics

Opposing plan B is so wild to me. I disagree but understand why people view abortion as murder. But plan B stops conception. The sperm is not even to the egg. There's no zygote that dies as a result.

OP is not in the right either. They should've said "that sounds wrong, what if I wore XXX instead?" Two people can be wrong in a situation.

The infuriating thing is that these places often brag about how they're no-kill but because they're so picky about who gets dogs it means dogs are forced to go to shelters with vacancies which will probably be a kill shelter. They're essentially pushing that work off onto the others and bragging that they don't have to do it. And yes, it's better than nothing, and no, not all of them are like this, but it really peeves me off.

who either doesn’t ever deserve redemption because

When people say "deserve redemption" they mean they'd like to see a specific plotline involving that. I don't believe people saying she shouldn't have one are saying anything else.

He absolutely should. And she absolutely should've said "that doesn't sound right, what if I wore XXX instead?" showing her concern because it felt weird to wear that to a party thus giving him the chance to clarify. Bad communication isn't necessarily a one sided problem. I'm not looking too far into the specifics because this is just an anecdote someone shared and as such they're probably summarizing.

So, imagine you're a woman. You believe you're a woman. You feel like a woman. You want to act like a woman. You want people to call you a woman. But everywhere you go and everyone you meet is calling you a man. This is how I've been told it feels to be trans.

A feminine man is fine being called a man. Maybe they don't want to do some traditionally "macho" activities but that doesn't make them not a man. For people who are trans it goes much further than that.

Communication is so important and understanding that people may be making decisions without enough context is a very important part of it.

"Well, you asked me what to wear and decided to wear something else!" Right, but you also didn't explain that you were told to wear that or that it is a tradition.

"Wear flannel and jeans."

"I was told to wear flannel and jeans."

"Everyone will be wearing flannel and jeans because it is a tradition and we need to as well."

People need to learn to communicate.

What was funny was to see how the plot of the orcs getting the special powers was basically the same as WC3. Thrall and... Um... That other one. The other dude broke down and took the chaos juice or whatever and became red.

Arthas was purging people even before he got Frostmourne wasn't he? Wasn't that a mission in WC3?

Yes, but this is sort of like the fire sprinklers being on. Sure, it's not a leak, it's supposed to happen, but it is an indication something is wrong. Like an airbag being deployed.

despite it having an excellent safety record

There's only been the one incident of death that I know of and only people in the "cockpit" (idk the train term) died. As a result they no longer let gusts into them.

(This isn't meant to be a refutation.)

Honestly if that isn't a HUGE deal breaker for your partner that would be a pretty big red flag IMHO.

That's the thing, the kind of women that men like Rare want are hyper submissive so for people like that this is a nice filter. It's disgusting.
