I know there are a ton of reddit video downloaders out there, I want to do it manually. So, looking at the source code you get the link under <shreddit-player> all the links are under playback-media-json. But some videos don't have those links under that, for example: https://www.reddit.com/r/dankindianmemes/comments/16zm8ey/lyrics_are_better_than_most_of_most_rap_song_today/
can someone explain why is that? Or is the best option is to get video and audio separately and put them together? Any help works!
Thanks
Hi! I have this issue with my computer. In the past it used to happen like once a month, then a bit more frequently, but 2 weeks ago it started to happen every single day. Then it was fine for a few days, then again every single day. I start my everyday gaming session by playing league of legends and everytime I start the first game, it loads (I’m in game and I can walk around) and then after 1 minute the fps drops and the screen goes black all of a sudden and the computer starts. This only happens with the first game, but it’s really annoying for both me and my teammates, I’m basically afk for like 4 minutes because when I log into my league account I have to wait for it to load the game again. I tried to get around it by going into the practice tool first so the computer can restart or whatever it is that it’s doing there and not have this issue in a real game, but that didn’t work. Instead I got a pop-up saying that there’s an issue with the CPU. I have no idea about how a computer works, all I know is I have had it for like 5+ years, it’s a gaming computer and the C directory has less space than D so I usually download my apps and games in D (yes, league is in D. I just don’t have enough space for it to be in C). Is it an issue that there isn’t a lot of space left in C? Also this summer my computer always overheated and I told my dad to take it for a professional cleaning, but he didn’t want to.. now the temperature dropped and it doesn’t overheat as often as it used to, but it still does sometimes when playing league and minecraft (yesterday I had a bit of lag on minecraft btw which was kinda annoying, it was worse when I increased the loaded in chunks.. I wanted to see further, but then I decreased them because the lag was too bad). I play on it 4-6 hours a day so I guess it’s normal for it to overheat at some point. What can I do so it doesn’t shut down and then start again? Should I keep pushing my dad to take it for a professional cleaning? I know he only took it once like 2 years ago I think. Also please explain this to me like I’m dumb because I am when it comes to how computers work. Thank you if you help!
Let me explain the whole situation please,
Around 7th September, I downloaded a wallpaper from a wallpaper site to use it as my background in my MacBook Air M1 but when I tried to open it, it showed me some kind of error which I don't remember correctly. On that evening I got worried that it might be a malware of some sorts so I installed and ran every kind of antivirus scan as possible but found nothing in the scans and I even did manual scanning as going through all the files and folders to check anything but found nothing suspicious.
I asked the same question in multiple subreddits and discord servers but they all said that it will be fine and this doesn't generally happens but not 100% sure.
That's why, I finally decided to get rid of this laptop to get out of this situation but again got scared because this laptop and my other devices are constantly connected to the same router and network and maybe the malware had hacked my router, infected it and is spreading the malware to other devices as well ( bunch of androids, ios devices etc.).
All of my devices are constantly updated properly and don't install any unwanted apps such as apks from random site ( I only use play store ). I have some questions regarding this situation which are listed as follows :-
-
Can the malware travel from my mac to my router, hacked it and spread the malware to my other connected devices?
-
Can my android devices get malware without installing anything ( no 3rd party software ) ?
-
Can an infected device spread the malware over wifi to any device easily without any restriction?
-
Can a mac malware infected an android device.
I'm planning to 1st change my wifi provider and then can my devices one by one to cut off any possible chance of infection.
If you know anything about this situation, please help me, it would be a lot of relieve for me.
and sorry for my english ( not my 1st language ).
