Vehicles were always strong in bf games, yes, but never to the point of being either broken or impossible to counter.

In BF 3 and BF 4 tanks and choppers were strong, but a guy with an rpg or a stringer spawned in with enough ammo to be able to solo them.

You see: the point of vehicles in battlefield isn't being some kind of indestructible force of nature, but being balanced while also useful.

Noone was complaining about tanks, choppers, jets, etc. In BF 3 or BF 4 because they were strong but also had enough weaknesses to balance for it

In 2042, the balance doesn't work. Most flying vehicles, primarily transport- and stealth choppers, are way too overpowered to counter. Especially stealth choppers, with their ability to be immune to lock-on weapons.

And the only reason tanks and other landed vehicles don't feel op is because if they get to close to infantry, then every class except medic can spam them with explosives, which is not how its supposed to be. Its supposed to be the engineers, maybe a sneaky enough scout, but primarily engineers, who are supposed to take care of vehicles.

In 2042 however, every class has some kind of weapon that can damage vehicles, with certain assault specialists being known for their explosive spam. Meanwhile the engineer, you know, the class that is solely there to fight enemy vehicles and repair friendly ones, can't even have enough rockets on a weapon meant to destroy vehicles to be able to actually destroy any of them, at least not without having to equip specific gun attachments.

However those belong in the category of close range explosive spam, because any class can equip those and from my experience shooting a grenade launcher from a larger distance without some specific positioning (height) is pretty much impossible.

Besides: having more rockets is a perfectly reasonable request, and something that we already had in previous battlefields (in BF 4 you could carry 5 rockets for an rpg, with a maximum of 7 with the right field upgrades). Having enough rockets to solo one tank isn't unreasonable, we had it in the past and it worked far better than anything in 2042 ever did.

Why you and some others act like its some kind of outlandish, gamebreaking change that only an absolute noob could ask for is beyond me. Is having enough ammo to destroy one vehicle, while playing a class meant to take out vehicles and a equipping a gagdet also meant to do the same thing, THAT much to ask for?

Yea a small one under 4 feet, most normal humans will get annihilated in a 1v1 with a gator bigger than 5 feet, I live in Louisiana gator attacks are pretty rare, but when people do get attacked, they always lose fingers, toes or pieces of flesh + broken bones, plus gators live in dirty environments so you're going to get an infection if you don't get treatment
