That team had talent but two lame ass coaches. Leftwich was a hack that got carried by Arians and Brady and Bowles coaches not to lose.

They asked the city if they can allow for higher fencing to block sight lines if they plan to go through with the development. They didn't like the idea but if they had to they just wanted more fencing for privacy.

No one has actually read the full email. It specifically states that the property was not designated for low-income or very low income housing. Then they asked that if they do plan on building a property there they requested taller fencing for privacy purposes. It was so fucking tame.

He had 27.5 ppg on .55 TS% (which was around/ slightly above league average at the time) that series. Kobe was just on another level that series with 34 ppg on .67 TS%.

The rest of the Nuggets were pretty meh that series. Chauncey was decent, but JR smith and Keynon martin were the guys behind them and they averaged 12ppg on .48 TS%. Compare that to Gasol and Ariza having TS% of nearly .700 that series even Odom at .52 was better than Kmart and JR...the lakers had the better top end supporting cast vs the nugget's depth.

he ran Mike Dantoni out of town

D'Antoni quit because they wouldn't trade Melo for DWill like he wanted. He told the FO it was either him or me and the FO said they rather have the player. He didn't run D'Antoni out when the man quit himself. D'Antoni even said interviews he quit.

All he had to do was change his shit a bit and ge would of adopted his game to the modern way snd he still might be playing.

He literally did the last three years. He's not playing because who wants a 38 year old 3P specialist that can't move on D.

t’s actually a great stat for cutting through BS. It tells a better story than just looking at counting stats.

Not really. There are so many articles out there they say why it's as bad as most counting stats. It over emphasizes some numbers over others. You really gonna sit there and say RJ getting 14 on sub 39% shooting was as good as he was this year? He had one game where he shot over 40% that series.

It just overemphasized his lack of TOs that series because all he did was catch and shoot. That stat has literally no context and does the complete opposite of "cutting through the BS." It's particularly bad in small sample sizes. There was 7% increase in his TS% along with scoring 4 more PPG even with his poor start and end compared to his prior post season. You can't even say he looked the same as he did in the regular season because of his PER if you watched the games where he was complete ass in the regular season and a positive in the post season.

This doesn't apply to just RJ, it applies to so many players. Even JB had essentially the same PER as he did in the regular season despite scoring nearly 28 ppg on the same efficiency, meanwhile his other advanced stats show a large improvement in production. Not a fan of the stat at all. There are much better numbers to use in general.

It’s a completely outdated stat that is akin to using simple FG% or PPG to rate player efficiency. https://towardsdatascience.com/problems-with-per-in-the-nba-fa0e611543e2

In no way is RJ’s performance against the hawks even close to the same level of performance of this play offs. You really have to be ignoring a lot of context to even just point to PER as something definitive.

It's even dumber when Lin himself basically confirmed what happened was the poison pill.

Except he didn't. Lin himself said MULTIPLE TIMES the reason he was not re-signed was the poison pill. He said on an interview with MSG of all people that he saw Houston change the contract and begged his agent to change it back because he knew there was NO WAY Dolan would have sign it.

But keep going ahead a believing that bullshit rumor when Lin himself already debunked it.

He went to prison, gave up his career, lost one person that cared for him, the other person that cared for him is dying. I can't believe the man got away with a happy ending /s.

PER is such a bad stat. His PER against the hawks was 14 when he shot much worse and averaged less points. Obi had a PER of 14.5 this play offs and you're going to say he did as well as RJ? His efficiency, OPM, DPM were all up in the play offs.

That's not the point tho. We have the weakest LF group in baseball and Cashman did not address it in the off season.

we're gonna trade for KAT book it

I rather bring KP back tbh. For all the injuries talk, KP has played 3 less games than Mitch, 6 more games than KAT in the last 3 seasons.

Walker was also always going to be a stop gap until they could land someone better. Fournier was the right move, they just didn't expect how much the defense dropped off with him and walker + Randle having a meltdown last year.

Even with deadline trade acquisition Andrew Benintendi, who didn’t play after September 2 due to a broken hamate bone in his right wrist, departing via free agency, Cashman didn’t do anything to upgrade the Yankees’ left field situation over the winter.

When asked whether he thinks of himself more of a Nugget or a Knick, Anthony says his game was in its purest form—and his team at its most competitive—during his time in Denver. “That version of me was more of a force,” he says. “I was hungry. Physical. Tough. It was a validation of where I came from, and how I played. As soon as I got to New York, it started to become more about, ‘He’s gotta change his game, and he’s gotta do this or that.’ … Between that, and the intelligence you had to have in dealing with New York and all the media stuff, it went beyond just having to perform on the court. New York felt like more of a survival stage, if that makes sense.”

Even Melo admits playing here is just a different pressure.

House began to suffer when it became less about the cases and more about the inter-personal drama. That said it was still entertaining and the ending where House stops caring about the next "case" to ride off with Wilson is a good way to end it. Them saying House never faced any real consequences must have slept through final two seasons where it was basically all about him facing the consequences. Not to mention the faking of his death was a reference to Holmes.
