I have to say I am delighted to hear Embid has chosen to play for Team USA in 2024. That really ensures they will be the favorite in my eyes. he has a great skillset for international play and can hit free throws. We needed his size as well on both ends of the floor. Team USA has typically gone with smaller centers in international play like Bam, JJJ and Bosh mostly, but we need to have the option for some size to match up better.

I love this. I still want JJJ back on the team as well as the backup center and possibly AD or Bam. Embid will obviously start, so if they bring back some of the guys from the last team I would think the starting lineup is Brunson, Edwards, Bridges, Ingram, Embid. I really hope some other guys get on board too. I am not really thinking Lebron for this team personally. I would rather see Tatum, Booker, KD, Steph adde to the roster along with Embid. Will be interesting to see.
