No idea with the 35mm but I‘m looking to buy a Samyang 85mm.

Main difference here is faster AF of the MKII and it’s also better protected against weather/dust.

Congrats! That looks spicy 🌶️ I hope they release the MCX soon.

But something’s wrong with the SIG logo 🤔

I had one before and although it kicks and sounds fantastic, and is satisfying to shoot, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Their mag design is out of date and the plastic shell bits that connect the mag well crack after a very short while which completely stops you from being able to reload because it would just crack even more, the metal mags have garbage gas efficiency to a point that it's borderline unusable. If you are trying to change the handguard good luck because you will have to hammer the front sight post off and since it's made of pot metal it can snap off easily which is what happened to me. Lastly, the receiver is made of low-quality metal that rusts easily if you're somewhere humid. It is tempting to get one but it is by no means a long-term gun or a durable one, to say the least.

You are kind of right in some points.

The mag design itself is utterly garbage. Over time they will wear out or break so be ready to buy new shells or magazines. No problems so far for me… fingers crossed.

Same for the internal trigger box parts. They are made of cheap pot metal and will break over time so you better change them from the start into full steel replacement parts. Here is the next issue. The RA-Tech steel parts will cause some problems too because they need some fixes too before you can get them working reliable.

The rust... Well it’s not because of the quality of the metal. The WE and GHK ones are treated differently. If you rub some gun oil on it from time to time you’re rust free and good to go.

So if you’re willing to make some modifications from the start it will make you happy long term. Not to mention that you will be able to order spare parts without problems. Don’t know about the situation with GHK parts.

Do the other we tech aks suffer from these problems? I really want a gas blow back ak but don’t wanna spend $600 + on a ghk just to get the gun alone, any us sellers have ghk in stock?

They are all based on the same system. Keep in mind that you end up with the same price of a GHK AK when you upgrade your WE.
