In the spirit of the game and its multipurpose functionality of tools, it woule be very cool and interesting to put pole vaulting in the game as well. You can sprint with the pole and launch yourself, or use this method and slide down small ledges while keeping speed.

A lot of bivouacs are very clearly just helicopter spawn points. They half assed the survival mechanics so much that bivouacs go from "oh thank god I found one I need to rest" to "okay another one now I have 3 all around this enemy camp if I want to come back later."
