You should always check the QVL on your board, but there is always dropoff. DDR5 is susceptible to this moreso than DDR4. Two sticks seems to be the sweet spot.

Not worthless, but dropoff on DDR5 is more significant from 1 stick to 2 and even moreso 2 sticks to 4 compared to DDR4. It's much better (even compared to DDR4) to get one 16GB stick than two 8 GB sticks, and so on.

I agree that the Nintendo Switch needs an update. It's 5 years old and was based off 3 year-old tech then. It struggles to run Metroid and Bayonetta 3. Hell, I had frame drops in Luigi's Mansion 3. It launched and couldn't handle Zelda without frame rate drops.

This comparison isn't it though.
