I believe that dictionary definition is missing the part about it having to actually be for revenge (like the guy in the story) else a lot of people posting porn on subreddits would be in trouble!

Edit: For those downvoting me but not actually interacting, the UK legal definition of revenge porn is this:

It is an offence for a person to disclose a private sexual photograph or film if the disclosure is made (a) without the consent of an individual who appears in the photograph or film, and

(b) with the intention of causing that individual distress.

That's a long time to not have a diagnosis that could greatly improve your life at work. Going private for it just makes sense.
