There is literally no greater proof of how stupid numbered review scores are than how people always play the "Well how could they give X game a bad score when they gave Y game a good score???" game after a major studio/franchise release.
The idea that someone who watches TV for a living isn't allowed to talk about a TV show because it was based on an anime is silly.

what the fuck is the hold up.
Which reminds me, after mentioning the Packers as part of that bit in this episode, that's only like the fourth or fifth mention of them up until this point? It's so fascinating, growing up it always felt like the rivalry was a defining part of being a fan of this team. The shit talking at my middle school with Packers fans who were born here yet still Packers fans, the anticipation of both those games every year, I specifically remember people yelling "empty trophy case!" if you made fun of them wearing a Packers jersey. And yet Bois has just not found it interesting to mention up until this point as compared to how the Saints/Falcons rivalry was a big part of that series.

I remain convinced that movie only existed in some stage of development purely for Warner to make it clear that they were trying to move on from Cavill and Snyder. I doubt they ever took serious pitches on it from directors.

Well that's the most eyebrow raising thing on this. I figured the book was Mann basically just getting all his story ideas out knowing he'd never get that movie made.
