It's extremely likely, that and Ghosts of Tsushima were both featured in the Nvidia leak for PC, and that leak has had an almost 100% success rate.

I'd say it's a matter of "when" at this point.

Yeah, it's less about the initial console sale, they want you in the ecosystem.

When you own the console you're more likely to pay for subscriptions, new games, accessories like more controllers and such, and generally spend more time on their services.

This isn't even a belief, it's obviously how they're operating.

First and foremost Sony are a console-driven company. They want you to buy a PS5 more then anything else to get you into their ecosystem. Then, when the game has outlived its life on PS4/5, they'll bring it over to PC so it can get a whole new round of PR and marketing, and sell a huge amount of copies because it's a high profile exclusive hitting a new platform.

They were extremely open about this when Horizon hit PC, they openly said they were hoping people would play it on PC for the first time and then pick up a PS5 to play the sequel.

That’s never going to happen, WH40k doesn’t fit the grand scale that fantasy has.

40k is more fit for stuff like RTS games, such as Dawn of War.

It’s 100% AI art. Look at the cathedral in the background, all of the pillars at the top are different shapes and sizes. The windows, as blurred as they are, are also different shapes and sizes.

I think that was different though, that was recovered from an actual Nvidia database, this is just someone taking a picture of a screen with a list on it. Leaks like that have historically always been fake.

If it's supposed to be an official Sony thing that someone's screenshotting, yeah that pretty much debunks it. This is supposed to be professional and a professional sheet wouldn't be filled with THIS many typos and weird errors.

Also: it lists "Disney Domination", a fake leak from the other day that was debunked almost immediately for just being stupid. So it's probably bullshit.

One of the characters looks entirely different in every frame, there's an iPad being held upside down, earrings that look different in every frame, that'd be really difficult to achieve if it was stock photos with some touchups, it has all the hallmarks of being AI generated with some artist touchups in photoshops.

Not even for the memories part, it's just a bad game that has barely any content and already tries to push MTX packs. There's like 6 bland missions and that's it.

Totally feels like they slapped it together in a couple of months just to test the waters or something.

Graphics straight out of 2014, placeholder taskbar icon, 60fps lock, placeholder fonts, fucking AI art in the cutscenes, bland art style, only 6 missions, it’s a mess of a game that doesn’t even feel ready for early access let alone releasing at all.

Asking for money in the form of microtransactions for THIS just feels like a joke.

It’s less that they “don’t care” and more that it’s harder to make these open world sandbox RPGs featuring multiple endings with the same characters, because then you have to confirm which one is canon and that kinda breaks half of the role playing element in the games.

It’s pretty much how the industry works, in a depressing way.

AAA projects are getting bigger and bigger, more exhausting, and the crunch gets more brutal. As a result, since they take multiple years to make, most devs will simply leave the company once a game is done. Or, the other option, the studio ends up laying tons of people off because they don’t feel like paying them to do nothing while they wait for a new project.

That's kinda neat actually! I got the original Metro 2033 free a long time ago, but never managed to claim the original Last Light.

Not that personally there's much reason to, the Redux Edition is pretty much just Last Light and it was more a significant update of 2033. Still, I like collecting and I'll be happy to own the original version.

I usually hesitate to use words like that, but this is accurate. It is 100% totally unwatchable on TV without Premium. Every two minutes there’s unskippable ads.

One time I opened a video to resume watching it, had to sit through 30-40 seconds of ads, realised the video wasn’t where I was before so I reminded, only to be greeted by another 30-40 seconds or longer of more ads before I could resume watching. A minute later? That’s right, more ads.

It’s awful and it’s only going to get worse.

I’m holding hope the rest of the year and Final Shape can still be great, Bungie have shown they can do it and Lightfall just reeks of last minute adjustments/rewrites.

Lightfall was originally meant to be the conclusion, but last year they changed it and Final Shape was now going to be the end, so they probably had to change a ton about it before release, leading to a story that was mostly just filler.
