Questions about automated system from a concerned physician by Diablo2g in CVS

A lot of retail pharmacies are understaffed to the point that they can’t keep up with demand, this is because of set budget by corporate who do not allow us to go over the budgeted hours without a district or even regional manager’s approval. They want it like this, because they’re buying up so many healthcare companies and need to keep operating expenses down to make the purchase look ‘good’. So we literally can not fill as quickly as prescriptions are coming in.

We try to get the more important things done like antibiotics, but when you have hundreds of scripts from the previous day in the list of scripts to count it’s sometimes very difficult to take the time to go through the list to print and do those first. This doesn’t sound difficult, but remember that there’s a line at the pickup window, drive through won’t stop, there are 5 calls waiting to be answered (not including office calls, most places try to answer those as soon as we can) appointments for shots every hour plus walk-ins every fifteen to 30 minutes, and there’s only 3 people to do all this because that’s what the allotment of hours allows per corporate expected demand. We can not schedule over this expected demand, it literally prevents you from finishing a schedule week unless it’s under the allotted hours. Some stores tell colleagues to come in extra, and the pharmacy managers get reamed out when they do this unless it allows us to increase our script volumes in a meaningful way. This does not happen often.

The system isn’t smart enough to see how behind the location is, so it’ll put in a time where it should be ready. When a patient puts an order for a refill in, they select the time. Most likely a store will already be up to a couple days behind (yes, this is commonplace right now, I’m not exaggerating). So a patient will go in and be surprised to see that it’s not ready. Yes, it would be fantastic if the system could tell patients that it’ll be late or will take longer than usual, and to expedite it on the app or contact the pharmacy, but that would be something that corporate isn’t willing to do, or they’d have already done this.

As for why we may not get an order? Most likely the eRX systems malfunctioned and never got to us. It’s just as likely to see a struggling office not send it, either. In my area we have a few problem practices that do this.

That would be the biggest suggestion, upgrade the technological infrastructure.loading a coupon shouldn’t crash a computer.

And then there’s Sloan potentially being Taken next season, so that may not be the case anymore.

It would very likely be the light hive led by Savathun, Xivu is pretty heavily in the Witnesses’ pocket.

The weapons in the game were fun, from an automatic javelin to a flamethrower that lit up anything in a ring shape in your point of view, to a homing bullet assault rifle. All in eras of the past, it’s crazy.

There’s an anime called steins gate that’s basically what happens when portals open to a fantasy world, with military expeditions into them by the Japanese Defense Force.

Oh I’m wondering if OP uses the New Zealand trick to get games early, and using Argentina to buy the games flags the account?

prescription waiver? by xtoilet_duckx in CVS

[–]Shad0wDreamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was to authorize CVS to bill your insurance, we’re releasing your profile and prescription information when you pay for it to the insurance so we can capture the payment from them.

A lot of states and insurances had requirements of this waived for a couple years because of COVID (so you didn’t have to touch surfaces you didn’t need to). This is certainly a requirement of purchasing your prescription using insurance if it pops up, because the insurance is requiring the signature.

No it’s authorizing us to bill third party, it’s the insurance signature.

Is there a reasonable way to limit the text messages from CVS, while still being alerted when prescriptions are ready? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Shad0wDreamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s changing actually, but so far the only way to do this is if the new version of the “can we contact you with automated messages/calls” prompt comes up. There is a settings button where they can change the preference to prescriptions only. Nothing about text frequency though.

It’s probably based on a response to a writing prompt here on Reddit that got a movie deal because it was so good. Basically a force gets wormholed back in time and have to deal with Roman legions.

Or it’s unrelated, but any more games like Darkest of Days is always welcome in my opinion.

Are headphones ok at work? by Albargain23 in CVS

The arguments against it are that customers are unlikely to bother you because they’ll think you’re not going to hear them or that your busy, you won’t hear pages over the intercom, and that you’ll be less likely to pay attention to things that need your attention. Definitely a big no no in the pharmacy since you need to pay attention to multiple things at once.

I think being in the back room is fine with them, since usually you’re focused on one task back there with no customers. Of course, it’s up to SM discretion (as long as there’s no corporate visit).

It should honestly be changed back so that selecting email preference will automatically email the receipt instead of asking. And instead of the customer having to manually add coupons, just have it automatically send to the card.

For sales, have it so each aisle has a QR code that we replace every week, so customers can scan and search deals for each aisle. Maybe show the featured deals for each aisle on this sign so people who refuse to use digital can at least know what to look out for for bigger sales (like bogo vitamins). That way we won’t have to have so many sales stickers. And instead of sale sticker day, it’s BoH day or something.

Jez Corden: Sony made Exclusive deals with Konami for Silent Hill, Metal Gear, and maybe even a new Castlevania by ashahab861 in XboxSeriesX

It’s an exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem. So was the first game. It was published under Xbox Games Publishing. By that logic Ratchet and Clank up until the most recent game wasn’t something Sony was involved in, either.

Undead labs made State of Decay 2, Playground Games made Horizon 5. Ninja Theory will show Senua 2 next month, Compulsion shows it’s title last year , and Initiative is making a large budget game, that take 5 years or more unless it’s rushed out.

Obsidian and Double Fine were also bought in that time and have released projects.
