I didn't expect much going into the documentary. But, 20 minutes into the second episode
( I didn't watch the first episode), I have new found respect for Beckham.
He talks about death threats at 23, kidnapping threats on his baby and absolute hate across England every time he touched the ball, all because he kicked Simeone and got a red card in the World Cup. Which eventually led to England playing with 10 players, and them losing out to Argentina.
Kicking is over stating, it was just a light touch, and Simeone made the most out of it.
