I just got the email. Got me wondering.
Do you expect to hear different POVs of the how aspects of that talk were concerning or troubling, or pretty consistent application and smooth sailing?
If the former, why? If the latter, why?
I’m asking before Sunday because I’m curious about how much thought and/or insular assumptions go into discussions of this sort. If you’re reading this after Sunday and you’ve already experienced this discussion, I’m also open to your experience and observations after the fact.
Note: I’m referring to the whole talk, not just a conveniently distilled personal application of the two word “tagline” itself. …Unless that’s your answer to the second question.
Im a convert i have been a member for over a year now. My testimony is strong, I’m not doubting anything but that question just came into my mind. I mean being a prophet and all is having prophecies right? I mean it’s literally in the word “prophet”. I know that President Nelson said stuff like “great things will happen” I don’t know if that counts as a prophecy. That’s really vague and a claim everybody can make.
Are there even any prophecies from modern day prophets?
Again I’m not doubting anything. I just got curios and I would like to have an answer to that so if I maybe get asked about that so I can provide an answer
(I’m pretty open with being LDS and share my faith with everyone.)
Can anyone explain that to me please?
Edit: Thanks for for your comments and explaining it to me
