Boutique releases only

All posts should be centered on boutique releases. All formats are allowed. No releases from major studios unless especially relevant (Warner Archive is one such exception). Posts are allowed to contain non-boutique releases as long as it also features a boutique release.

No attacking users tastes

It is alright to disagree about a movie but don't be a jerk about it.

Pickup posts should be topical or unique

When posting pickups of multiple releases, do not post an image with just one boutique release. Try and keep pickup posts interesting or topical. Discussion should be promoted on pickup posts

Items for sale should only be posted in the monthly trade thread

When posting news, attempt to provide the most information possible

If a label announces releases, a post with screenshots, more information, etc. will be prioritized over a simple list.

No posting of digital download codes

Popular new releases must be flaired appropriately

All pickup posts featuring popular new releases must be flaired with the "Popular New Release" flair. A list of what is considered to be one of these releases can be found here https://www.reddit.com/r/boutiquebluray/wiki/popular-releases
