Yeah, so it's a given that women will be told a myriad of violent things involving um... inappropriate kinds. Or lovely threats of "Turn your mic on or I am going to ra*e you"! I've reported about 7 men in Apex for this, and unfortunately due to voice chat not being able to be "checked" apparently, none of them got in trouble. Even if it was me and another random person reporting them.
Normally I ignore it. Actually, in Overwatch, I fight back and report them and they actually do something about it (shocking) while being able to go back and see what we both said.
Well, a lovely creature last night decided to tell me a bunch of things about unaliving myself and other fun slurs (REAL slurs, and actually, Re**** in its full name) and I called him a t*rd. With the a. Just that typed out. Yep, very shameful of me. No, I don't ever start fights with people and especially in Apex I tend to just stay quiet because I don't want the aggressor to start gameplay sabotage and screw over the third random. I got tired of it last night and that was the devastating blow I landed on him after being told to off myself and other names that I wouldn't say promote a "peaceful" and "safe" community.
My account said a week suspension so I emailed customer service over it, they had me give them a confirmation code to confirm my email, and then I was blocked from accessing customer support chat and being able to email them. I emailed them what he said and how this is a serious problem I've had with many other accounts, not just him. No I did not attack customer service.
I don't know why but when I log in to the EA website it says "permanently banned" so not sure if it's just the suspension or if they decided to ban me instead of suspend me (which would be insane after the email I sent them).
I cannot believe this man said what he said and now he has received an email saying action was taken on me and he's laughing himself to the bank. Jesus christ. I don't even know if I should do anything about it. Just came here to vent I guess. If I'm going to get in trouble with a suspension for what I said, he should be getting permanently banned at that point.
Edit: If I get my account back I'm going to record every time I play so I can have evidence in case something happens again.
The story starts in 2017: I wanted to buy Battlefield 4 on sale. Had trouble with that, opened my first ticket. Anyway i somehow got the game, that time something worked.
Two days ago, six years later 2023:
I wanted to play BF4 but it was missing from my library. It was still visible in download manager, the dlcs were still on my account. I tried to reboot app, because last time it happened it worked. Not this time. I went to ea help, on that site the game was still marked as "my game". I tried their guide but nothing worked, i even installed ea launcher on another pc to check. After 13 ~~bots~~ people from support telling me to reinstall app, one person said that my game was refunded so i shouldn't have it on my account anyway. Wait WTF, if it was refunded ( what i don't remember asking for), for six years you let me keep the game, spend more money on other dlcs and battlepacks just to tell me to f off because YOU have mess in your system? I tried looking at response from previous tickets but guess what 500 Internal Server Error. I tried to ask some more questions but they closed the ticket and shadowbanned me from opening another one. I chose option to send mail without logging in from another mail I'll report that to authorities because I'm pretty damn sure that is against Polish and/or EU consumer law to refuse support to customer. Not sure about not fixing mistake for 6 years.
