Posts must be directly Newcastle Utd related – All posts must relate to Newcastle Utd. Posts solely about other clubs, ex-players or irrelevant topics will be removed.
Meta posts about the sub are allowed to an extent.
Free talk threads are exempt from the related to Newcastle rule...obviously.
Zero tolerance for hate speech/trolling/brigading - Blatant Trolling is absolutely not tolerated. Any individual attacks regarding a fellow user or player will be deleted and the user may be banned without warning. The same for users that are clearly not adding to the subreddit and instead are just being a troll.
There is a zero tolerance policy in r/NUFC regarding hateful, offensive, or abusive content or comments whether it be in the sub or comments made in the NUFC discord. This includes but is not limited to: homophobia, sexism, racism, hate speech, and/or personal attacks. Any infraction will result in at minimum a warning, and for more serious infractions bans are likely.
No spam - Repeated self-promotion or irrelevant posts will be removed, for more information please check our FAQ on what's good to post or not.
This includes posting to fake streaming websites and/or to news sites that the user is linked too.
No brigading - A thriving community is the goal here and any group attacks or unnecessary hate given towards another user will be removed. However this rule will be enforced if the acts done are intended to be malicious, context is important and the moderators will review each case carefully.
Due to a user vote during the initial sub update, some reactionary posts to the game are to be removed..
These are posts that would be better said in the post match thread. An example would be "How awful was Colback?" as the title and "Crap" as the content.
However, if the post contains quality content then it will remain. Each case will be reviewed by the moderators.
Constructive or informative posts from fans of other clubs are welcome, however if we percieve you're just here to try and start an argument, your posts will be removed
