As an admin, when Google adds a new service in your Google Admin console, you can have the service automatically turned on for all your users. Or you can have new services initially turned off, then decide when to turn them on for your users.

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

In the Admin console, go to Menu AccountAccount settingsPreferences.
- In the Release preferences section, click New products.
- Select an option:
- Turned on when released—All users can immediately access new products and services.
Note: You can turn access on or off for an organizational unit or group of users. - Turned off when released—Users can use new products and services only if you turn them on.
- Turned on when released—All users can immediately access new products and services.
- At the bottom, click Save.
Changes can take up to 24 hours but typically happen more quickly. Learn more
Note: The New products setting applies only to newly released Google products, and not when a new On/Off control is added for an existing Google product. Also, Essentials edition doesn't include all core Google Workspace services, and isn't guaranteed to get new services in the future.
