I was frustrated with the poor defense and back-to-back defeats. Plus, I spent around 2000 coins on a Spanish attackers epic pack and got nothing. Frustrating, right? And Konami's decision to only give us 100 coins a week and packs that guarantee quality players only if you spend 15k coins felt like they were pushing F2P players out of the game. It seemed like the game was designed for big spenders.
So, I decided to give EA FC 24 a shot. Many reviews praised its free rewards, UCL mode, and player editing features. But my excitement turned into disappointment as I played my first normal match. The gameplay felt terrible, and the players moved like robots with no tactics or playing style. It was a letdown, to say the least.
After wasting 30 minutes and around 500 MB of data, I decided to switch back to eFootball, and it was like a breath of fresh air. The game's beauty and the fact that they provide all base players for free made me appreciate it as an F2P player. Konami deserves kudos for developing such a fantastic game.
So, to all the F2P players who are frustrated with eFootball, I challenge you to try EA FC 24 for 30 minutes and then come back. You'll quickly realize why eFootball is worth it. Let's continue enjoying this beautiful game together!
I know it is subjective, but for me (who definitely am not the best but decently good at the game), Top Player seems to be the sweet spot. The opp AI even when having very low rated players still manage extraordinary moves, but overall the pacing and opportunities seem fair enough. Difficulties above it are unplayable for me. Thoughts?
