This sub is for long, natural nails. Overlays are not considered "natural", and are not permitted here.
Using an overlay to patch a broken nail is allowed. Using a tip/form to extend a broken nail without shortening the rest of your nails is also fine, as long as the majority of your nails are your own.
When posting, please list the products visible either in your title or in a comment on the post within 6 hours. This includes both the brand names and shade names/numbers. Text body or individual photo captions aren't valid for product lists. If you are using any type of overlay, you must include this in your list. If your nails were done professionally, please mention this either in the title or a separate comment. Broken nail posts still require a product list.
Posts and comments that are NSFW in nature are not permitted.
This includes, but is not limited to: fetish content (discrete or not), sexual posts/comments, use of drugs/cigarettes/vapes, self harm, media taken while operating vehicle, etc.
You do not need to comment that you think OP's nails are sexy. The ONLY exception is NSFW nail art, which requires an NSFW flair.
This community is here for supporting and appreciating long, natural nails, no matter the person's skill level.
Be kind when giving constructive criticism. Don't comment anything that's needlessly rude, or hurtful.
Do not send members unsolicited messages. If you can't say it in a comment to OP, you shouldn't be saying it.
Anyone found breaking this rule will be banned without warning.
There is a ban on all posts and comments from accounts with NSFW/fetish subreddit affiliations, as well as accounts that have a history of utilizing Reddit for marketing purposes. Posts and comments left in SFW subreddits that are remotely sexual or fetishistic in any way are also included in this.
If your post is not your own nails/work, you MUST give credit to the original creator, either in the title or in a separate comment. This includes any inspo pictures/videos. It does not matter if the original creator put a watermark in their content, you must give credit as the person posting. Posts without credit will not be approved.
Due to the amount of spam posts we receive, all posts require manual approval from a moderator. If you don't see your post in the subreddit feed, chances are that a moderator hasn't had a chance to approve your post yet or you haven't followed the rules of the sub. Posts are only approved once they follow the rules; mainly posting your product list/giving credit to the nail tech or salon, or giving credit to the original creator of the content you've posted, such as looking for dupes or the name of a polish.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to send us a modmail and we'll get back to you ASAP.
