What is the Aftermarket Industry’s plan regarding EVs?
An arrow pointing right
An arrow pointing left

There are a LOT of aftermarket parts companies, im not talking about Summit Racing or AEM (who also sell replacement parts), im talking about companies who sell specific parts like Borla, K & N, Kennebell, Whipple etc. With more EVs being produced, it means less and less people are going to fit an aftermarket exhaust, or an intake. So these companies’ sales will go down slowly but surely. What’s their plan to combat this?

Interested to hear your opinion.

Buying first house, need advice on homeowners insurance.
need advice

We are buying our first house in Seattle area, and before we close we need homeowners insurance. Our broker told us to get quotes from our car insurance company, which is Geico. There is also the question of what coverage to choose, and max payout if rebuilding the whole house is necessary. We are buying the house for $575k. The problem is that I didn't grow up in US, and so have no idea what so ever about anything homeowners insurance related.

Could someone please recommend homeowners insurance companies, and give me tips on coverage.

How does renter's insurance work?
An arrow pointing right
An arrow pointing left

I've been approved for an apartment and I've been going over the lease. In the email they sent they mentioned:

Please note that we will need you to provide us with renters insurance should you choose not to use the liability insurance that the property offers!

The liability section of the lease is hard to make heads or tails of. Should I just look into getting private renters insurance? What should I look for if I do? The lease mentions a minimum coverage amount I need. Should I just find a renter's insurance policy that meets the lease's requirements? Or should I just sign the lease and opt into their "liability insurance"?

Find your people

Home to unique communities, the most engaged conversations, and yes, even the best memes. No matter who you are or what you’re into, there’s a community on Reddit with people who are equally passionate (if not more).

Redditors don’t doom-scroll—they engage with intent.

Where your audience finds their community

Whether the topic is sports, shower thoughts, personal finance, makeup addiction or just good, old-fashioned dad jokes, chances are you can dive right into a conversion about it somewhere among the 100K+ active communities on Reddit. There’s even a community to find specific communities.

While passions and interests bring nearly half a billion people to Reddit each month, it’s the sense of belonging that makes them stay. And they don’t just stay to lurk on Reddit, they engage, ask questions, offer advice, and even a little encouragement.

Reddit is where opinions are formed

People come to Reddit with purposeful intention: to find out more about a topic from those who know it best, whether peers or brands. They trust the information they find here, discuss it with others in the community, and use it to form perspectives of their own. It’s these trusted community perspectives that drive real-world decisions.

Reddit communities are good for business

It’s simple: People trust Reddit. 90% of users trust Reddit to learn about new products and brands. For context, that’s higher than Google, Amazon, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat.

The communities’ trust turns into action. Redditors tend to be more informed consumers, more valuable buyers, and they go hard for their favorite brands. They’re also more likely to recommend the products they love - which never hurts.
