So I see this is an old post but I'm in the same boat as you were on day 7 post-op. I've sent messages to my doctor and hoping to hear back tomorrow. For 4 days now, so since i got home from hospital, I've drank over 80-oz water and "eaten" about 100g protein. The goal is 48-oz water and 60g protein. I think that's a good thing but I worry I'm doing something wrong. I use my tiny utensils, little 1- and 2-oz condiment cups. No pain. No discomfort. I'm just worried maybe this is too much too soon. I'm like that in all things.

Did anyone ever hear that it's bad to do too much?
