[Highlight] Joel Embiid blocks a galloping Jaylen Brown. 5 blocks for Embiid by 3rdEyeDeuteranopia in nba

It’s tough that Giannis also had a crazy season cause he was also deserving, but it was tough to watch after the carry job he did mid year

DON'T SCROLL DOWN WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGING THIS GUY! by Gfoart in sixers

[–]balemeout 84 points85 points  (0 children)

Don’t like Doc but he deserves credit for this. It takes major stones to play House after giving him no minutes for a month and a half, and house made sure he didn’t regret it

I did that when I wanted harden to win the MVP over Giannis as well, I can’t blame them too much

[Shorr-Parks] PJ Tucker saved the season with this moment. #Sixers didn’t have anyone to do this in past years. by TrustingProcess in sixers

[–]balemeout 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not only that, he said it within the context that he doesn’t think he could score a touchdown, get a point in an nba game or score a goal in hockey. A home run is by far the hardest, there’s no qualifiers to add to make it easier, some mlb players end their career without a single one

[–]balemeout 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup, giving them way too many second chance points. I figured Tatum would have a game like this eventually, but you really can’t afford to let them hang around

Only being up 9 after maybe the laziest first half the Celtics have played is worrying though

[Around the NFL] Eagles HC Nick Sirianni confident Jalen Carter will be in shape: "We will get him to what he's supposed to play at and I have no doubt in my mind he'll do whatever he needs to do to be the player he needs to be." by Kimber80 in nfl

[–]balemeout 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s a gamble like any other pick is a gamble. Half the dudes picked in the first round won’t be on a roster in 5 years, the only difference is that the worries about carter aren’t whether he’s a competent player

[Bontemps] Joel Embiid breaks down in tears as his son Arthur — named after his brother who passed away — ran out onto the court to be with him during the MVP ceremony before tonight’s game. Very cool moment. by tirednewyorker in nba

In addition to what the other commenter said I don’t think he posted him ever until recently. I think he wanted to keep him out of the spotlight, he only recently started showing up to games/conferences

[Rosa] MLB Rumors: Aaron Nola Offered Contract 'North of $100M' by Phillies Before Season by CantaloupeMafia in phillies

[–]balemeout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s interesting, thank you for the stats on that. I wonder if it is just in my head but it seems like he always gives up a 2-3 run homer, usually on the same pitch, a knuckle curve that hangs

[–]balemeout 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah he’s got us over a barrel. Teams will pay him like he’s a top 8 pitcher because his peripherals are insane, but they don’t take into consideration that he can’t pitch from the stretch so all of his hrs are multiple runs. On the other hand, letting a top 20 pitcher walk or trading him in the middle of a championship window is the surest way to get “sell the team” chants

[Krell] Scott Foster is officiating Game 3 tonight by mastermind208 in sixers

[–]balemeout 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yeah foster sucks but this doesn’t really mean anything besides it’s going to be frustrating to watch and it will give me a reason to complain

Who will we look back on as the most obvious bust in the first round? by Timelycommentor in nfl

[–]balemeout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but is it common for them to be the worst qb in the league back to back years with a good coaching staff, good weapons, and then turn it around and become a top 10 qb?

[–]balemeout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think so too, but I don’t see the jets keeping Wilson past that point either. He was genuinely horrendous and had a really long leash, and his value comes on a rookie deal. Are you re-signing a guy who has shown nothing to be a starter on a decent contract?

And he’ll be off his rookie contract at that point, I doubt he’s even on the team longer than Rodgers

“Yes I read this. Where are the comments about what you were saying Sixers fans were actually mad about out? They were from the same article why did ox like strength get it’s own post but nothing about what you were saying? Also Celtics in 5”

You absolute moron. Also keep changing the subject after getting mad at me for goalpost moving.

Sorry I don’t have them saved like Nuggets fans.

Reddit search is right there tho why don’t you use half the energy you use to mindlessly defend a random reporter and find it yourself.

Who is upset about anything? You should take a look at the difference between making fun of someone and being upset. It’s also not a gotcha that we only won 1 of 2 in an away series without our best player for 1 of the games. But hey, we can’t all play the suns and wolves every series can we

[Jake Coyne] Tonight’s 34-point loss by Philadelphia to Boston is the largest loss in the first or second round of the playoffs by that season’s MVP in the history of the award (since 1955-56). by Wonderful-Balance711 in nba

Not commenting for 2 days after game 1 and then dropping 10 comments after game 2 about Embiid, must’ve gone to the Dillon Brooks school of shit talk

1 [Post Game Thread] The Boston Celtics (1-1) emphatically even the series against the Philadelphia 76ers (1-1), 121-87. Jaylen Brown leads Boston with 25/3/4 in 3 quarters and helps limit James Harden to 12 points on 2/14 shooting by ItsN0tTheB0at in nba

[–]balemeout 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They probably wanted to give him a chance to feel a game out, and the writing was on the wall that the Celtics would win this no matter what. Can’t imagine they were happy with how the first game was received
