Did you not read the article? That weather has never happened in recorded history, not even close. Plants don't grow properly if the climate is this jacked up. And it won't get better. Even if we stopped all carbon emissions today, which we obviously aren't going to do, the carbon we've already emitted won't leave the atmosphere for thousands of years. The decline of insect populations in just the last couple decades is astronomical. Guess what pollinates plants...

We are good and fucked. The evidence is clear as day. The only questions are how soon and how bad will it be.
