So, who's favorite? Hope not the Qataris. I want a complete meltdown on twitter + fan channels who weirdly are all supporting this Jassim guy.
Seems neck and neck from the reports today
That is true, but it just keeps dragging on...It's the never ending transfer saga, except with ownership, not player acquisition.
Glazer speciality is to drag everything out

If we don't get a preferred bidder next week and get some clarity, I'll jump out of a fucking window.
It’s gonna be delicious when a state with worse human rights abuses than UAE buys them too
Why is that delicious?
To see the fans superiority complex over having nice ethical clean money evaporate
So you're looking forward to a sportswashing Qatari state take over another PL club pushing the amount of state-owned clubs in the PL to 3, just so you can laugh at some United fans' hypocrisy?

Sheikh Jassim is clearly a mechanism which is slightly different to us in the sense that all 4 of our owners we're extremely well known/rich people. He has 3 pictures on the whole internet haha.
I've seen a video of him talking for about 10 seconds. Take that, AI allegations.
I was intrigued by your comment and went looking for said photos. Noone can tell me this photo is not AI generated: https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/sheikh-jassim-manutd-takeover-bid-30175316
Look at the collar underneath his beard, lmao.
Don't think there's been a public picture taken of him. If there is it's not on the internet.

Totally legitimate business practise then. No conflict of interest whatsoever.
Does anybody own a pair of ZoomX Nike Vaporfly 3s? Before I commit to £235
Those look sexy ngl

Me and the missus had a pair each and they started falling apart within a week or two for me - the quality seemed really shit. I know they're not everyday training/running shoes, but we both just assumed they'd be better. Probably a bit stupid in hindsight, but at least we've had experience with them on our feet.
We've both since "downgraded" to Asics Gel Cumulus 25s and the quality is just miles better, they're far comfier and feel far more cushioned even though they're actually a bit lower and closer to the ground. They're much softer and less springy, but again - we just wanted a daily runner. (These don't have any plating in, if that matters to you, which is something the Vaporfly has). They're the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. As a downside, they're fucking terrible in the wet on smooth/polished ground. There's a painted running path near us, and if it rains it's basically like running on oil slicks. We've had these about 6 weeks now (since we returned the Vaporflys) and they're holding up fantastically.
We both alternate between zero-drop and minimalist running shoes, so we wanted some max cushioning shoes for regular runs. Usually I want something with a reinforced/strapped toe box because I wear mine out quickly, but I couldn't find anything I liked this time round, so I just went with these.
I ended up buying the Asics in a disgusting black/white/green colour, but I find them so comfy I want to get the all-black versions for travelling. They're like strolling around in clouds.
If you're using them for race days and you only expect to get a couple of races out of them anyway, then presumably you just ignore the price if you're looking for dedicated race shoes.
If you're looking for something daily and you're going to put some miles in, they're possibly the weakest and worst quality runners I've ever bought - and I've had to buy the cheapest, shittest shit in the past.
I was looking for a more every day shoe that is capable of getting the miles in on all terrains...i know they're basically designed for marathons but had hoped at £225 they'd take a battering and hold up if theyre worn daily.
Perfect review, thanks mate, i'll look elsewhere.
Could not advise against them any harder then!
We had the same thought and I'm glad they fell apart quick enough - we were actually abroad at the time, intending to benefit from a tax rebate, and just had enough time to take them back before we left.
If you're going through mud and stuff, I wouldn't get the Asics either though! Running on pavements or just normal tarmac roads is absolutely fine, but these aren't made for messy days really.
I've got some old Asics Goretex runners that I use if I'm going off through the fields or through mud/puddles - got them for about 40 quid about 6 years ago and they're still excellent.
Might be best off looking into two shoes really. There's a big advantage in being able to swap out your shoes - you give one pair time to air out and dry out while you use your others, and both shoes get worn out less.
I'd just identify the type of shoes you want online, look for reviews, and then see what you can find cheap/on sale. I think if you're spending 200+ on some and you need them to last and be a do-it-all shoe, I think you'll probably be disappointed in the end. That's more than enough money to get two decent pairs I think!
I was willing to pay a premium, I'm not an ultra runner but i am active daily, they look good and basically was hoping for a 24/7 shoe i could go to the gym in, then go for a quick run.
By the sounds of it, and what else i've read, if you're not doing 10k+ in them there's no point
