...Hi, thank you…they should’ve called it John Wick…but that’s pretty cool…and surreal for me. But thanks, scientist people! Good luck, and thank you for helping us.

    [–]MadamKitsune 610 points611 points  (11 children)

    But thanks, scientist people!

Did anyone else read that in Ted's voice and get a sudden urge to air guitar?

    Just me? Ok...

    [–]user_account_deleted 3467 points3468 points  (32 children)

    "Thanks, scientist people"

Keanu slipping back into Ted there for a minute.

    [–]RedditMods_R_Nazis 304 points305 points  (12 children)

I’d like to see a John Wick movie with Ted Logan’s personality. “Whoa, you totally killed my dog. That is totally bogus dude” sad air guitar

    [–][deleted] 281 points282 points  (6 children)

John Wick is just the timeline when Ted gets sent to military school.

That compound is so dangerous I saw it kill some fungi with a pencil.

Hello, Mr Reeves, thank you for doing this!

Seeing you as a characher in Cyberpunk 2077 was an incredible experience, I genuinely think Johnny Silverhand is one of your best roles.

Do you have any further plans on starring in computer games in the future? What is your attitude toward computer games overall?

    [–]lionsgate[S] 17.0k points17.0k points  (228 children)

Cool, thank you! I love Johnny Silverhand and I think all the folks at CD Projekt at friggin’ amazing! Video games are fun! And it’s cool how technology and storytelling are evolving in that space.

    [–]Drewelite 317 points318 points  (13 children)

Neo, John Wick, and Johnny Silverhand. Honestly can't decide which is my favorite 🤩

Edit: Oh and John Constantine! Wow... You're really good at playing Jonathans 😂

    [–]StenSaksTapir 86 points87 points  (2 children)

I was excited for Keanu in Cyberpunk because of Johnny Mnemonic. That's some of the purest cyberpunk cinema ever made. Even written by William Gibson himself.

With Neo, Johnny Mnemonic and ditto Silverhand undrer the belt, I'd be hard pressed to find an actor that embodies the genre better.

    [–]Manzano_ 6614 points6615 points  (71 children)

Hey Keanu! Can you tell us a fun experience you've had with co-stars while filming?

    [–]lionsgate[S] 15.8k points15.8k points  (70 children)

Can’t tell that story…can’t tell that story…can’t tell that story…

I had a scene with River Phoenix and he was sitting on the back of a motorcycle that I was driving while we were filming. It wasn’t extracurricular, but we went off the beaten path a bit and came back and no helmets. Just two friends playing. It was a really good day.

    [–]Kalleh 495 points496 points  (17 children)

Stand By Me is my favorite movie of all time and I’m so sad I didn’t get to see more of River in my lifetime. What a great story that you have to share with him!

    [–]Sno0pyBo0 28.8k points28.8k points  (185 children)

Hi Keanu, as a moderator of r/KeanuBeingAwesome, we appreciate your work in some of the most incredible movies of all time. We also admire you for your kindness, generosity, and everything that makes you awesome! My question for you is:

    • What's something awesome that someone did for YOU recently? :)

    [–]lionsgate[S] 46.9k points46.9k points  (168 children)

Hi Sno0pyBo0… you calling me awesome was the most recent example of something awesome someone did for me… and then a few weeks back my motorcycle broke down and a friend of mine walked me through how to fix it over Facetime.

    [–]gynoceros 108 points109 points  (1 child)

I mean you get back what you put out.

Most of us have seen that video of you getting up and giving your subway seat to a lady without making a big deal about it just because you're a decent human. So it's no wonder there's a sub devoted to appreciating stuff like that.

And while I'm glad the internet just can't get enough of you, that's got to take some getting used to when you're humble and grounded despite being one of the biggest stars and most famous people on the entire planet.

Like on the one hand you can't not be cognizant of what comes with your day job, but I think the thing that blows people away is how well you seem to be able to compartmentalize that aspect from the guy who you feel like you are.

    [–]XepptizZ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

There are people that want to be defined by their fame (influencers)

And there's Keanu who's trying desperately not to be defined by his fame.

I can only imagine how frustrating it is to have everything you do analyzed and criticized like everything has to have an ulterior motive or deeper meaning.

    [–]2020BidenHarris 11.7k points11.7k points  (71 children)

    Keanu Reeves 🤝 Tobey Maguire

acknowledging the subreddits that worship them during AMAs

    [–]bannybanana 455 points456 points  (30 children)

Agreed but you can’t really blame the likes of Sydney Sweeney for not acknowledging the subs that worship them

    [–]theg721 4424 points4425 points  (209 children)

Do you still play bass at all?

Is it true that Kim Gordon borrowed your bass for one of Sonic Youth's videos? And that you and Mike Watt argued beforehand over whose bass she'd play in the video?

What bands have you been listening to recently?

    [–]lionsgate[S] 6863 points6864 points  (204 children)

Yes, yes, no… Kim Gordon is cool, and so is Mike Watt!

I’ve been listening to Alvvays, Daughter, and Bill Evans trio.

Holy crap, I can't say I was actually expecting a response at all and now have so many follow up questions I wish I'd asked.

Thanks for the new bands to listen to! + for all the great films over the years <3

      [–]your_mind_aches 97 points98 points  (4 children)

I'm jealous that you get to discover Alvvays for the first time and that Keanu freaking Reeves put you onto them!!!

      [–]axtumn 824 points825 points  (65 children)

I can't believe Keanu Reeves listens to daughter. good taste!!

      [–]jilko 20 points21 points  (4 children)

I went to see The National and Daughter opened for them. One of those moments where midway through an opener I’ve never heard of before, my only thought was “holy shit.”

Definitely remembered Daughter’s performance more than The National’s, and they were amazing… so that’s saying something.

      [–]mrmeowmeowington 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Wtf. Keanu is now complete for me. He listens to daughter!!! I wonder which depressing lyric is his favorite.

      [–]BarnabyJones21 72 points73 points  (53 children)

I thought he said Daughters for a second. I was gonna say, that's an unexpected pick lol.

      [–]ViktoriaBlythe 3483 points3484 points  (106 children)

Have you ever thought of playing in a musical? I heard you did say in the past that you would want to try different movie genres. What do you think about it now?

      [–]lionsgate[S] 6654 points6655 points  (96 children)

Yes, I would love to be in a musical…but I can’t sing so I’m not sure anybody else would want me in a musical.. but I sure would try. I mean I could sing, but not really well. I can always dream…

      [–]THIS_IS_GOD_TOTALLY_ 138 points139 points  (9 children)

You already have, my friend. 1986. Drew Barrymore, Pat Morita, the guy from Empty Nest... a musical that took place in C-I-N-C-I-Natti and the magical low-budget realm of Toyland. You're forgiven for forgetting; some fever dreams are best left buried.

In case no one believes me: Babes In Toyland

      didn't stop Pierce Brosnan!!!

      [–]TheLGMac 116 points117 points  (5 children)

I watched “Spirited” on Apple TV…I’d say if they let Ryan Reynolds sing, Keanu can sing!

What is your favourite film that you’ve worked on?

      [–]lionsgate[S] 17.8k points17.8k points  (329 children)

Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!! Fuck, aaaaaahhhhhhhhh…I’ve been very fortunate to work on a few films that have changed my life. I can’t pick just one. But here are a few- River’s Edge, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Matrix trilogy, The Devil’s Advocate, A Scanner Darkly, My Own Private Idaho, Point Break, John Wick.

      [–]jrzone 72 points73 points  (2 children)

A scanner Darkly is a hidden gem. With a great cast of characters. It used rotoscope technology. But it works amazing for the style of paranoia that the movie has.

      [–]BallerinaRed 6221 points6222 points  (69 children)

        Giving off Victoria vibes 😭

EDIT: We miss you u/chooter ❤️

        [–]gophercuresself 141 points142 points  (2 children)

Was literally just thinking about how these things have never been as good as they were with her transcribing. She captured personality and speech patterns so damn well she could turn lacklustre amas into something really engaging and special. Was truly a skill. I pretty much don't bother with amas these days as they all just seem to be going through the motions. Reddit has made some shitty mistakes over the years but letting her go has to be the most senseless.

        [–]HEYitsSPIDEY 53 points54 points  (1 child)

I used to attend every AMA because Victoria breathed such life into it. I only look at and participate in ones now that really interest me, and that’s very rare.

        [–]glassisnotglass 152 points153 points  (10 children)

Apparently Victoria now runs community engagement at LinkedIn

        [–]JohnOliverismysexgod 11 points12 points  (0 children)

River's Edge and My Own Private Idaho are two exquisite films. I recommend them to all. But don't watch them on the same day. They are each too powerful. The total power would completely blow you away.

        [–]EighteenRabbit 1853 points1854 points  (13 children)

Have you read any of the books by Joseph Campbell (The Power of Myth, The Hero With a Thousand Faces, etc) and if so, how have they affected how you view your role as storyteller and actor?

        [–]lionsgate[S] 3110 points3111 points  (9 children)

Hmmmm…yes…Hero With a Thousand Faces…the work gave me a wonderful context about how to think about and express archetypes and connecting ancient journeys and myths to modern storytelling.

        [–]Ok_Risk_5009 182 points183 points  (2 children)

I'm going to also vote for a Keanu Book Club! Everything I've seen you mention I'm actually interested in! Just finished Deadbeat Druid by David R Slayton if you like funny, adventure filled, inclusive wizardry in a current timeline setting.

Hey Keanu. Do you prefer the kung fu training you did for the Matrix or the jiu-jitsu you do for John Wick?

        [–]lionsgate[S] 9210 points9211 points  (50 children)

...Nothing can ever compare to the kung fu training from the Matrix because it was so unique and my first time…but the jiu jitsu in John Wick being integrated with judo and gunfights can never be touched in its own way.

Hey Keanu! My wife and I are huge fans. You seem like a very decent man and you deserve to be happy.

My question: let's say you're getting ready for a long flight and could only pick 1-2 movies to bring and watch.

        Which movies are you bringing?

        [–]lionsgate[S] 5683 points5684 points  (43 children)

...AAAAAAAHHHHHHH…today…let’s go with A Clockwork Orange and The Wizard of Oz

        [–]sevenhellsbells 276 points277 points  (5 children)

this man is watching a clockwork orange on a plane full of people he is not like you or i

        [–]Etiennera 100 points101 points  (2 children)

When he imagines a flight, I think the seat in his mind has relative privacy.

        [–]MostAstoundingFact 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Recently watched A Clockwork Orange during a flight. Let’s just say that movie, especially the singing in the rain scene, hits differently in crowded public places.

        [–]Ferocious-Muppet 2793 points2794 points  (30 children)

Hello Mr Reeves, have you ever experienced anything paranormal in real life?

        [–]lionsgate[S] 6006 points6007 points  (28 children)

Hello Ferocious-Muppet, Boo!...yes. When I was a little kid I was sitting in a room with a nanny and I thought I saw a ghost in the doorway and I looked over at my nanny and she looked really scared…I didn’t know what the heck was going on.

        [–]BlackShadow10020 6234 points6235 points  (160 children)

        What’s your favourite cocktail? Thanks!

        [–]lionsgate[S] 15.3k points15.3k points  (158 children)

I was recently in Tokyo working, and was taken to a bar owned by a master cocktail maker named Ueno-san called High Five and he made some kind of sublime concoction with a smoky mezcal and green tea and some mysterious sweet liqueur, chilled. Oh my god.

        [–]RGJ587 7641 points7642 points  (107 children)

        https://www.barhighfive.com/menu

Here's a link for everyone whose mouth watered at this description!

        [–]pauvenpatchwork 266 points267 points  (38 children)

Thank you. Going to Tokyo this year and I am def putting this on my list. Sad I don’t see the mezcal drink on the menu. I guess I can just ask the bartender if they can make me what they served Keanu …

        [–]RGJ587 297 points298 points  (27 children)

Enjoy! Tokyo is an incredible city. It sounds like the Owner made Keanu a "Ceremony" but swapped out the whiskey for Mezcal, so you can perhaps ask them if that is possible. But yes asking the bartender will prolly be best, i'm sure they will know.

Bonus tip: If you dont mind waking up early, I highly recommend taking a cab over to Tsukiji Toyosu Fish Market at around 2am 3am, to eat sushi at Sushi Dai https://www.yelp.com/biz/%E5%AF%BF%E5%8F%B8%E5%A4%A7-%E6%B1%9F%E6%9D%B1%E5%8C%BA-2

It's some of the best sushi in Tokyo, and for an incredible price and experience. Only trick is how early you need to wake up to go there, which is why I always go there the first night I arrive (when my internal clock is still thinking i'm in New York)

Anyway, just thought I'd give you a recommendation! enjoy your trip!

        [–]Neuroccountant 75 points76 points  (5 children)

Mezcal has its smokiness in common with good scotch, so it’s possible that the whiskey in the Ceremony is scotch and Keanu is misremembering. But who would ever doubt Keanu’s memory?

        [–]crainte 25 points26 points  (3 children)

Sushi Dai moved to Toyoshu fish market a while back. I went in 2019 and the line was much shorter compared to when they were at Tsukiji.

If the line at dai was too long, I would just go to Daiwa, got their omakase set to start and order off their menu after

        [–]Heuredufromage_redux 31 points32 points  (2 children)

I don't think the menu is meant to be comprehensive, just a representative sample. Their White Lady is arguably their most famous drink and it's not on the menu either. In fact, unless they've changed things up since I last went, you won't get a menu when you are seated. They'll ask you what type of spirits you like and what type of drink you're in the mood for and then recommend you something.

        [–]Rikiiks 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I actually think he might have ordered the drink " Japanese garden" due to his allude of a mysterious sweet flavour and that could be the midori which is a honeydew liquor. I think this is the most plausible drink! Hits all his points. The whiskey which could be the mezcal, the sweet note and the green tea liquor all cold.

        [–]Aptapt 3225 points3226 points  (16 children)

Are there any of your movies that you can watch purely as a viewer and just forget that you are watching yourself?

Love your work and your work ethic.

        [–]lionsgate[S] 4340 points4341 points  (15 children)

...Thank you, appreciate that...no…I can’t forget…but I can watch them as a viewer at the same time.

        [–]mzchen 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Does it bother you if you watch a movie you are featured in? I know some actors have never watched their own films because it bothers them so much.

        [–]lionsgate[S] 18.6k points18.6k points  (136 children)

Well, when I was a kid I always said I wanted to be a race car driver, a conductor or an astrophysicist. Today, let’s conduct some music.

        [–]rastafunion 145 points146 points  (4 children)

There's an alternate universe where I follow my childhood dream of becoming an astrophysicist and I get to hang out with Keanu Reeves and trade crazy space theories with him.

Alternate me is cooler than I thought.

        [–]johnkim88 3239 points3240 points  (104 children)

Keanu, what is your favorite food to eat? Any comfort food that reminds you of early Childhood? Thanks!

        [–]lionsgate[S] 7122 points7123 points  (103 children)

...Shepherd's pie…macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and honey sandwich. I’m hungry.

        [–]SereneDetermination 155 points156 points  (33 children)

I have never tried peanut butter and honey sandwich. But since you say it is good, then I owe it to myself to try it. 🙂

        [–]TuEquinox 114 points115 points  (10 children)

My mom used to make me PB&H sandwiches for school lunches when I was little. By the time we got to lunch break, the honey crystallized on the bread, and it gives the sandwich the best texture. Truly undescribable.

        [–]YounggKNG 41 points42 points  (6 children)

Ohhhhh throw some banana slices in there. Banana peanut butter & honey sandwiches have been MY JAM lately…

Hi, yes… The Passenger by Cormac McCarthy and Stella Maris because that’s the companion book. Enjoy!

        [–]cysun 265 points266 points  (9 children)

Hey Keanu, I would have never thought McCarthy would publish anything new at his age, and even less finding it out from you in an AMA on reddit. Thank you, have a nice day!

        [–]alon_s128 15.4k points15.4k points  (70 children)

What is the best advice you've ever received?

        [–]lionsgate[S] 9028 points9029 points  (31 children)

…I haven’t really received a lot of advice…but I’ve met quite a few people who led by example…one of the best examples being perseverance.

        [–]Meta_Man_X 253 points254 points  (5 children)

My favorite quote of all time is about perseverance:

“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan Press On! has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.” ~ Calvin Coolidge

        [–]Cymen90 1845 points1846 points  (27 children)

Kind of weird to think about a human being possessing THE red pill, considering how the term has become such a memetic part of internet culture.

        [–]Bruised_Penguin 188 points189 points  (5 children)

Lucky for us Keanu is a benevolent ruler and does not abuse the power of the pill. We are blessed.

I also love that Hot Ones went from this small niche show to one of the "must do" or in this case "most asked" interviews now for celebrities when they are promoting something. Shoutout to Sean and the crew, they deserve all the love.

        [–]Shark-Farts 254 points255 points  (13 children)

It always tickles me how taken aback some of the celebs are by how thorough Sean’s questions are. They’ll give him that raised eyebrow look like, okay, I see you, you’ve done your research

        [–]duaneap 107 points108 points  (5 children)

Which is what makes it worth watching, if you are interested in the subject. It’s more like an interrogation than anything. The heat makes them more reactive and honest.

If it were just celebrities eating wings it would be pretty boring.

        [–]pmmerandom 31 points32 points  (3 children)

I wouldn’t say interrogation at all

Austin Butler did one the other week and he described it as a “conversation” and I think that sums it up beautifully

        [–]madbadger89 12 points13 points  (1 child)

Having a meal with another person is an inherently humanizing activity. It’s replete through human history as an activity to invite and create fellowship.

It’s a concept that we’ve done for millennia just repackaged for an audience.

        [–]MoonBasic 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Sean does an amazing job at the exposition and setup for questions. I’ve actually picked up on some of it and it has made me a better listener/conversationalist.

He asks these amazing and insightful questions that really resonate with the guest and empowers them to tell full stories about memories and events!

        [–]Ygomaster07 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Those always catch me off guard too. I'm like damn, this ain't no cake walk interview.

        [–]TomTomMan93 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Honestly they really do. It's probably one of the only talk shows I watch regularly and almost regardless of guest. It's just really well done and for the most part seems like everyone on it is having a good time. Props to the team there for doing so well for so long

        [–]BoOnDoXeY 19 points20 points  (1 child)

Having tried the Hot Ones: Apollo sauce, I can agree, the after-effects of that one is a reason I won't eat it again. Same reason I won't eat another raw Carolina Reaper.

They are truly a royal pain in the butt.

        [–]Designed_To 31 points32 points  (1 child)

I'm not much of a spice person and ended up doing their 10 hot sauces at a party once. It ended up being a lot more fun than I expected! I'll cross my fingers that one day we'll see you on there 🔥

        [–]galxzroamer 248 points249 points  (2 children)

This is the dream!! I want to see Keanu laugh at Sean's deep cuts and being impressed at getting asked a genuinely thoughtful question. It would just be a fucking amazing interview.

He's replying to both old and new questions, which is kind of cool. Never seen someone give people who just showed up an answer before. Makes me feel like if I asked a question right now I'd have a non-zero chance of it getting answered. If only I had a question, hah

Miss him. I read that someone asked him how he felt about passing away so young and he said something along the lines the he had an amazing life and he was ok with passing on. He was always super cool to me growing up.

        [–]CaptainCAAAVEMAAAAAN 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I got a guinea pig named Patches from my local store when I was 10ish. I picked her because I thought she was pregnant, but my dad and the store employee kept telling me she "was just fat". But I was right! And she had 3 babies; Patch, Sugar, and Blacky.

Pineapple on pizza: Yay, nay, or neutral?

          [–]lionsgate[S] 6097 points6098 points  (55 children)

Nay…but yay if the pineapple is slightly roasted.

You just ended the most ridiculous debate ever. Take that Academy.

          [–]CedarWolf 142 points143 points  (28 children)

Protip: sprinkle just a hint of cinnamon sugar over your Hawaiian pizza before baking it. The sugar melts and caramelizes and makes the ham taste like roast pork.

          OR

Swap the tomato paste for a thin spread of apricot preserves. This makes the pizza taste fruitier and sweeter, more like a luau than a pizza. The apricot and the pineapple both play well with the pork. It tastes more 'Hawaiian.'

I just wanted to apologize for invading your privacy in 1994.

Much Ado About Nothing had come out the year prior and my aunt worked in Hollywood and had some how gotten your phone number. I didn’t believe that she really had your number and thought she was just making it up to seem cool.

So one day after watching that movie and being so impressed, I called the number and to my surprise it was your real number! And instead of hanging up, I left a message saying how I thought you did a great job as a villain. I was 14 and so, so dumb.

          I’m really sorry.

          [–]Rapturesjoy 921 points922 points  (18 children)

He was probably flattered and a little freaked out lmao.

Edit: I would also like to mention, we all do dumb shit when we're young, so don't worry about it. A few years ago, I could've gotten Emma Watsons skype. But I thought I would probably get arrested if I just pinged her out of the blue like that lmao. So don't fret over something that happned decades ago. Don't forget, he's had a busy, chaotic life, I'd doubt he even remembers to be honest.

          [–]RogueTanuki 183 points184 points  (11 children)

One of the first times I used Instagram I didn't realize how it works and thought I was commenting on Laura Bailey's photo when I was actually sending her a DM, so then I apologized and explained that I did not mean to message her and I just didn't know how Instagram works. 🤷‍♂️

          [–]reddit_guy666 1707 points1708 points  (27 children)

Considering the recent stalking incident he had, I think Keanu will likely avoid this comment. He is probably too sweet to rebuke you for what you did when you were a kid and also likely to be wary of encouraging more people to stalk him even if he didn't mind what you did.

          [–]JimDiego 236 points237 points  (0 children)

I think Keanu will likely avoid this comment

Yeah, most likely. It would not surprise me at all if we later learn that he sent a kind word via PM though.

          [–]novakanes 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Oh that’s really sad to hear. I didn’t know that had happened to him. Honestly, it’d be enough if he saw it. It’s just been one of those things that pop into your head just as you’re drifting off to sleep, and bing wide awake. So I took a chance to say I am sorry and hopefully he was able to read it.

          [–]CaffeineSippingMan 116 points117 points  (14 children)

Don't feel bad I used to work with someone that is related to Danny Pudi (Abed from community) who offered his phone number to me. I struggled every day not to get the the phone number. I am an adult in my 40s.

What kept me from getting it was: what would I say?

          [–]anakinmcfly 84 points85 points  (1 child)

What kept me from getting it was: what would I say?

          “Is this Danny Pudi?”

          “Yes”

          “Cool. Cool cool cool.”

          [–]HippoDan 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think I have little worthwhile to say to a celebrity. But, if asked to say something I would probably ask Kate Capshaw if she can still sing, "Anything Goes" in Chinese.

          [–]Lexx2k 25 points26 points  (1 child)

I'm more wondering why the hell there are people who give out phone numbers like that. Feels kinda dick-ish.

          [–]buffalogal88 115 points116 points  (0 children)

My cousin worked on a project with Keanu years ago. We were hanging out at my moms apartment and he got a call on his cell. IIRC it was a butt dial, but I now can say (mostly truthfully) Keanu Reeves called my moms house

          [–]two4six0won 45 points46 points  (2 children)

Keanu in Much Ado was my first real villain crush, I'm pretty sure. I still get chills when I watch the 'let me be that I am' speech.

          [–][deleted] 241 points242 points  (16 children)

Aw, buddy. You weren't dumb. You were a kid with a once in a lifetime opportunity and you took it. Anybody would've.

          [–]merlinmagician55 137 points138 points  (0 children)

Hi Keanu. This isn’t a question so much as me trying to take advantage of what I am sure is the only chance I have to ever talk to you directly. Not sure if you’ll ever read this or reply, but this is likely my only shot so I’ll take it.

Thank you for being such an amazing human being. Clearly you have endured a lot in your life and have still managed to navigate fame with humility, sincerity, class, and sincere kindness. You are a true inspiration and I admire the hell out of you. I am truly sorry for the pain you have endured. Thank you for emerging from it still kind at heart, always willing to help out anyone and everyone you can, and for never taking yourself too seriously. Such a refreshing take from a Hollywood star.

I could ramble on and on forever about how much I admire you, but I will spare you that. On the off chance you read this, thank you for being you and please keep on being that person. Wishing you happiness, joy, continued success and good health

No questions just wanted to share how much you mean to us. You are awesome and my family and I enjoy your films.

I work in the nursing field and wanted to share that the interview linked left an impression on me. It was during an interview with Steven Colbert and you talked about death. Your answer gave me so much peace that I often share that quote with others. When asked what happens to us when we die you said "I know that those who love us will miss us". Beautifully said and thank you for that ❣️

Hi Keanu, Which part of acting as John Wick did you enjoy the most? What's the first thing that comes to your mind?

Ps, your amazing dude! Can't wait for your next movie!

Edit: made the question more specific.

          [–]KoopaKommander 123 points124 points  (3 children)

Will you direct another movie anytime soon? I really enjoyed Man of Tai Chi and thought the fight scenes were excellent. Also, thanks for being a seemingly overall nice guy.

Hi Keanu, nice to have you here.

Do you know or are you aware that you have a very special place in almost everyone's hearts?

You are a very kind and humble and social person whom all of us should strive to be...

Thanks for your time, Keanu. Hopefully you’ll see this one.

I’m just wondering how you manage to remain grounded and continue to treat average people kindly when it seems like so many of your colleagues have lost the ability to relate to us ordinary folk?

Thank you for everything. I wish you joy, happiness, and love.
