This Ricard guy told Jeff to stop using “come on in guys” because it’s offensive. Dude, why are people like this? It’s insane.

/r/Survivor uses a complex flair system. The redesign currently lacks the necessary tools to properly display all aspects of our flairs, including winner pick badges and colored flairs such as our coveted gold and winner flairs. However, the basic text of any flair will still show up on all platforms. You can read more on our Flair FAQ.
Treat other users with respect. Bigotry is not tolerated, including racism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia.
Harassment of other users is not allowed.
Trolling is discouraged.
Criticism of contestants is allowed, but please remember that they are human, and any overly hostile comments will not be tolerated.
For more detail, see complete version of the rules.
Spoilers about future episodes or future seasons are banned in r/Survivor, including boot order, challenge outcomes, etc. The only spoilers allowed are the cast, theme, and locations. You can read more in our Spoiler Policy. Spoiler discussion should be held on our companion subreddit, r/SpoiledSurvivor.
We will remove links to illegal streams, torrents, and other pirated copies of Survivor, as well as posts that are veiled requests for illegal copies.
For a more detailed information, see our rules.
Post titles should clearly indicate what the content of the post is about. Please make titles searchable whenever possible. Posts with vague titles will be removed.
Avoid excessive blanks in your title.
Any sort of Survivor press and videos should clearly indicate what is being linked.
Creative post titles are encouraged for memes. Exceedingly vague titles will be removed.
All posts should be flaired.
Preference goes to flairs for Meme, Subreddit Game, Fan Casting, Social Media, and Casting.
Discussion or news about a particular season or international version should use that flair.
General Discussion can be used for all other posts.
Any duplicate submissions of a recently reposted article, video, image, tweet, etc. will be removed.
Very similar memes may be removed under this rule, even if developed independently.
Self posts that cover the same topic as another post may be removed, especially in the day right after an episode.
Generic posts are not allowed and will be removed.
Basic questions are not allowed. If it's linked on the sidebar or easily searchable information, then it doesn't need its own post.
For a detailed list of common generic posts and commonly asked questions, please see our rules.
Comments that overly sexualize contestants will be removed, and will result in a warning for first-time offenders. Basic comments like that a Survivor is "pretty" or "hot," etc., remain fine and permissible, but grossly sexualizing contestants is not allowed.
We allow posts from Twitter, Instagram, Facebok, etc. when they pertain to Survivor. Post titles should be clear and informative about the nature of who is involved in a social media post and what it pertains to. Direct Facebook links are not allowed. You may screencap content. The names and profile pictures of non-public personas (e.g. Survivor contestants) must be censored. Twitter or Instagram can be linked to directly or captured via screencap without censoring information.
Any discussion regarding edgic should be properly tagged. For posts, this means flairing the post as an "Edgic" post. Comments about edgic that are outside of edgic-specific threads should use a spoiler tag and denote edgic discussion.
Until officially announced by CBS, cast/theme spoilers for future seasons can be discussed on r/Survivor in threads specifically about those seasons. Post titles about these seasons should not directly mention any spoilers, e.g. cast names.
Post titles should be clear of episode spoilers (who went home, who won a challenge, etc) until the Friday following an episode.
Any speculation that incorporates information beyond what is aired on the show is subject to removal.
