Posts about Gaming
Howdy r/Games. A new generation of consoles is kicking off and to celebrate we will be creating a series of megathreads for specific topics related to each console's launch. We will keep this thread stickied for the coming days as a hub for all of the discussions we create (since reddit has restrictions for how many threads can be stickied at once). We will have user impression threads, technical issue threads, launch hype threads and much more. We are excited for the launches and a lot of us will be gaming it up - if we let anything slip through the cracks give us a shout in modmail, if you'd like to hangout and chat with some of the r/Games users or moderators, we have a Discord server you can jump into.

EDIT: Hi all, we wanted to add some context for why PS5 players won't be able to play at 120 fps. Our teamโs main focus this year was our recent free to play transition, and updating major features like our Tournaments system. While working on these updates, we had to make some tough decisions on what else we could achieve. Enabling 120hz on Xbox Series X|S is a minor patch, but enabling it on PS5 requires a full native port due to how backwards compatibility is implemented on the console, and unfortunately this wasnโt possible due to our focus elsewhere.
"GameStopโs flagship store will develop into three different levels. In the basement there will be the gaming arena, where it will be possible to try out all the newest video games. On the first floor there is a 270ยฐ LED wall created to offer an immersive experience. Finally, on the second floor, there is the sales area, in this case completely renovated. For the first time GameStop has created three different sections dedicated to different consumers, namely ProGaming, ProStreamer and Home. This way, customers can find the perfect product for their needs. Whether itโs a gaming monitor for the esports enthusiast, a streaming microphone for the professional streamer, or a comfortable gaming chair for the everyday user, youโll find it all." Source.

First off, Happy Holidays.
For the past month or so I've obtained several game consoles. The objective has been to beat out scalpers or bots that buy these high-demand consoles and let people this holiday season have the chance to purchase them. I won't be seeking to profit on these sales. The goal is to see these consoles reach someone's home this holiday season as a Christmas present, or hey for yourself too!

I will avoid selling to resellers. I'll take my time with selling these consoles to proper buyers.
Update:
Another important note is that I've been receiving offers of $600 + shipping for the consoles. I'm flattered but I'll be sticking with the listed price for all buyers.
What I will do is enable buyers to donate more if they wish but this is separate of the console price and (obviously) optional.
PayPal Friends & Services even has a donation option in the invoice I believe, so I"ll be using that.
The proceeds of the donations will be used for toys and essential goods (blankets, food, clothing) I can purchase to donate in Holiday Food Drives.
(I'll be adding an imgur of the stuff I plan to purchase from the potential donations). Mods let me know if this okay to do if not I'll remove this option.
Thank you everyone for the support!
The consoles have to ship by December 15th or so for them to arrive in time for Christmas (or sooner).
Thanks!
