After a lacklustre undercard, we’re finally ready for the main event. I really can’t see a different outcome to last time, but let’s find out. Eubank tags the body. They trade lefts. He’s straight up, and the referee is giving him a break to put his gumshield back in. I did not see this coming. Eubank jabs to the body. Eubank with another uppercut. Smith is still not all there. Hard job from Eubank. Vicious combination from Eubank. Eubank to the body. Smith almost looks as if he’s fighting scared here: a reversal of the last fight.

Whatever happens in this fight, Chris Eubank, Jr’s stock has risen. I don’t think many people thought he would control it as he has so far. Eubank lands, a short right with Smith coming in. And it’s hurt the Liverpool fighter. Eubank gets his man on the ropes, and he is throwing everything at him. But has he punched himself out? Smith seems to be over the worst. Two uppercuts from Eubank are followed by a left hook to the temple. Smith lands to the body. Eubank jabs.

The right hand from Eubank looks to have hurt Smith again.

Eubank beating his man to the punch again. Eubank tapping away, picking up points. Soft combination lands from Eubank. He’s not done any damage this round, but at least he’s scoring. Smith has barely thrown a punch. Hard left to the rib cage from Eubank. CEJ catches his man on the way in. Smith finally lands to the head. Now Smith lands to the body.

Eubank starts the round with a jab. Eubank with a combination. Eubank lands multiple shots to the body, but he is caught on the counter to the side of the head. Nice jab from Eubank. Soft jab to the body from Eubank. This has been an utterly dominant performance. Eubank opens up and sends Smith back about five steps. Big uppercut from Eubank. Another big shot from Eubank has Smith looking shellshocked.
