Source: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/38380166/sources-nba-likely-pass-tougher-rules-resting-stars

Teams must manage their roster to ensure that no more than one star player is unavailable for the same game.

Teams must insure that star players are available for national television and in-season tournament games.

Teams must maintain a balance between the number of one-game absences for a star player in home games and road games -- with a preference for those absences to happen in home games.

Teams must refrain from any long-term shutdown -- or near shutdown -- when a star player stops participating in games or plays in a materially reduced role in circumstances affecting the integrity of the game.

Teams must insure that healthy players resting for a game are present and visible to fans.

The NBA will provide several scenarios for excused absences on missed games -- including those involving regular-season back-to-back scenarios, sources said. For example, the NBA will allow pre-approved designated back-to-back allowances for players who are 35 years old on opening night or have career workloads of 34,000 regular-season minutes or 1,000 regular season/playoff games combined, sources said.

Hello guys, I see a lot of negative feedback and wanted to share my unbiased review. I play offline mynba with weaker teams and trying to male them relevant. Last year I went with charlotte and this year san antonio.

Gameplay: This year for me it is almost perfect. I had to use to harder cpu defense - you are rewarded for calling right plays to score easier and keep good fg percentage. In my opinion we never had better gameplay. I have to actually tryhard in both ends and am reasonably rewarded. No nonsense dribbling leading to bugged scoring. Just pure basketball. Bigs are really well crafted this year. I can finally utilize strong players, fight for balls. You can feel players attributes - good inside scorer makes difference in situations, you need to use more moves to score and game is rewarding you as it should. Fast players are fast but not undefendable, mismatch feels fair both ways. Animation blending and footwork is incredible. CPU is attacking and subing very reasonably. It reacts also in defense. If you score inside a lot it will open shots from distance (I hope is not placebo). Star players are real deal on both ends. Fouling is improved (had games with 30 plus freethrows on one side several times in 7 games. Rebounding is better but there are cases when your best rebounder got too many of them. This changes as oposing player likes to play on perimeter - then rebounds are distributed well. If player can shoot 3 but is also good in penetrating - he will do both during game. First time I feel like rhytm is important in offense, transition feels smooth - you got opourtunities but there is small window do use them - like real basketball. Good passers are good and they tent to collect more assists with lower effort. Freethrows from cpu are fixed now - realistic numbers.

Sim stats - incredible and on par with reality (modern era) Injuries - makes sense now and on par with reality Game stats - absolutely realistic for me (minor sliders adjustment - needed more turnovers, more fouls and cpu shooting a bit better to match my playstyle). This means every stat in team stats is realistic for me. Presentation - love the new scoreboard (mb more in game stats would be nice), love how smooth camera cuts are now. Audio - we need more realistic rim sounds Physics - ball is more alive, rim physics are nice, deflections are nice. I miss succesfull shots after few bounces on rim. Game is really good at processing player collisions this year. You can spin around players nicely and if you connect some sick move I actually feel emotion and cheer for it. Menu - no opinion, feels same

I am still getting use to dribling. I go with Real% except for freethrows - this year sou can adjust ft window so your shots matches real % of your team - finally the sliders works.

There are games with 90 plus opponent shots but with other team they got 81 vs me... depends on teams playstyle and I love it.

I play 12m quarters, superstar base for my sliders
