I know many donโ€™t consider this film among QTโ€™s best work, but it certainly grows on you after a couple watches. Goggins โ€œChris Mannixโ€ character is so damn unlikeable through much of the movie, but he may be the most fun character to watch. He ends up gaining some redemption for siding with Major Warren at the end (though it was only because he almost drank the poisoned coffee). I think he proved he is capable of playing a very compelling anti-hero.

Edit: Goggins gives a transcendent performance. Which was my reason for posting. My terminology โ€œlow keyโ€ seems to have bothered some. I Wanted to give this great actor some praise. Please donโ€™t take my wording as a slight against him. Iโ€™m glad that so many others appreciate him. Iโ€™m late to the party, but I canโ€™t wait to check out Justified.
