Can't wait to go back. Crossed that same bridge to that same zipline! And got to see Arenal smoking. What a lovely, pristine country full of lovely people

Loved Costa Rica so much! So many places to see on earth but we’d love to go back one day!

I did this exact trip to the same three places in 2016.

When I selected the exact same 3 spots for our trip, I thought I was creating a unique itinerary. I guess, not so much. Love Costa Rica.

We ran into some of the same people at all three places! Haha So many others were making the same trip from La Fortuna to Monteverde to MA. 😂 I also thought we were being unique.

Where did you catch the frog? Just got back yesterday actually from Arenal and MV and La Cruz

The frog was from a night tour in La Fortuna!

Jealous you were able to see Arenal without the clouds! Currently in at place beside Rincon de la Vieja!

Did you, per chance, eat at a restaurant called Benedictu’s on the side of the volcano? Are there twice when I was in Arenal because the food was so incredible.

Also curious about which restaurant this is! We have a trip coming up next month and these are the 3 locations we have in mind/ are in the middle of planning for (coincidentally 2 friends are there this week, so we hope to get updates from them too!)

No! But now I wish we did! We paid for so many activities we tried to keep our food budget light. We went to several sodas in all three places.

My father was working there in 1998 and told me to come check it out and he thought I'd like it. I came back to the states 15 years later.
