It doesn't make any sense to me. A 12-year-old who has been drawing for 3 years will most likely be more skilled than a 30 year old who has never drawn in their life. Your age should have nothing to do with your self-worth as an artist.
Furthermore, everyone learns at different speeds, devotes different amounts of time and effort into improving, and starts at different times. It doesn't make sense at all to compare yourself to others when your circumstances could be so different.
Anyone at any age can learn and improve at drawing. Don't try and be the best 8-and-a-half-year-old artist on the platform, just try and be the best you can be.
