All of his songs are feel good jams with great instrumentals and memorable lyrics. Better as a whole than most artists in country history. I notice he's often overlooked in favor of the latest flavor and is barely hailed as one of the best, if not the best.

so i went down a huge rabbit hole from drew's "no one can stop me from buying weird ads (not even you" video and I've figured out basically everything about powersave
if you don't know what I'm talking about, go watch the video and skip to 8:30
-
who was the guy in the video?
the guy in the video is a guy named iman gadzhi, he's like a motivational guru or whatever you want to call it-- I think(?) he scams people,, but I know for sure he wasn't involved in powersave
2. was Powersave real?
it was obviously a scam,, I mean 'powersave' isn't even trademarked.. there's literally no information on the company at all, or information on who made it, but I did find the model that they used in the video..
the actual product of powersave is a dropshipping scheme. if you search up 'power saver' on amazon, you will find a bunch of the same product, and they all ended up looking like the image attatched.
3. additional information
I did find a video by another company who advertised this product too though and...
I went on to research the company who made the video, and it turns out that they're a dropshipping company, so it just confirmed my suspicions. it was just a dropshipping ad.
in conclusion,
alan jackson isn't real
powersave is a dropshipped product
the company isn't real

Wow...I'm 29yo and I just discovered Alan Jackson. I typically listen to Jam Bands..the dead, string cheese, etc,. but with a splash of country here and there.
Just listend through his albums 'Here In The Real World' (1990) & 'Drive' (2002).
Drive may be my new favorite country song of all time. Just perfect.
I need more Alan, send me some recommendations!

Does anyone have a video of when Daily Bread mixed in “chattahoochee” by Alan Jackson?! My country roots came out and I was too busy throwing down to think to video it, but I really want to show my mother! 😅 TIA!
We try to be less misogynistic than r/ TaylorSwift and r/ Fauxmoi. We're here because we love Taylor and her music and are tired of the impossibly high (and, frankly, unachievable) standards that successful women are held up to. Taylor is awesome!
I was listening to SiriusXM Grateful Dead channel and they were playing the 12/30/1977 concert in San Francisco and the intro to Sugar Magnolia came on and I didn’t really know it because I’m new to the dead. I thought, hey they’re doing an Alan Jackson cover, then I realized the date was 1977 and Jackson’s song came out in the 1990s. So I googled some lyrics and it’s Sugar Magnolia they went into after the intro. Sure enough if I play the song I can sing the chattahoochee lyrics over it and it fits perfect, at least at the intro, first 8-16 bars.
I searched a lot and google doesn’t seem to think anyone else has made this connection. Maybe I’m crazy. Maybe they both share a bass line from some 1930s song or something and so everyone who knows, knows it’s really a Hank Williams riff. Idk.
Hope this meets the rules of your subreddit. Apologies if it doesn’t.
Cheers.

Alan Jackson has been removed from the schedule for Sunday’s post-race concert. The Oak Ridge Boys are taking his place. Anyone know what happened?

My copy of Alan Jackson - A Lot About Livin' arrived today with a Townes Van Zandt - Live At The Old Quarter obi strip. The sticker on the shrink is correct, but it has next month's obi. That's a first for me - never seen that before.
I gave a heads up to customer support, but something to keep an eye out for.
