And then i can go fully in the box.
Seriously, the limiter need an uptade, for mastering, and professional mastering.
With no artefacts when you push him hard !
Ohter than that, Ableton is seriously the best DAW for electronic music.
What do you think is the single stock plugin in Ableton people should use more or get to know better?
Subreddit dedicated to the news and discussions about the creation and use of technology and its surrounding issues.
I've seen a lot of people recently not using CDJs when DJing at events and rather using just the mixer and DJing straight into ableton. I was wondering how you do that? I know you can set up midi control with a DJ controller but would that not be a big effort and take a lot of time to do between sets? Is there a plugin / software people use? I'm very keen to learn how to do it but could not find many resources on the internet so if I could also be directed to some that would be great !
Anybody in here produce rap music?
I have had Ableton for awhile and am trying to get better. How did you all learn how to make rap beats in Ableton?
I ask because all the tutorials I see on YouTube are from really unseasoned people lol. They are decent at explaining stuff but there music just doesn't have that flavor.
I have FL Studio as well. Should I just chalk up spending $700 on studio plus another $200 on the upgrade to 11 and just go over there.
I do like Abletons UI much better its much cleaner to me than FL but idk it seems like everything that comes out of it sounds like a porno beat smh.
This question is aimed more towards those that have experience with other daws as well as ableton. Do u mix in Ableton? Do u like it? If not, what daw are you using to mix your music instead? For context: I made the switch from LogicPro a while back and have been using Ableton exclusively since, love it for making music but have difficulty getting satisfying mixes comparitively. Dno if it’s the way it has to do with the processing of dynamics on single channels or how the summing occurs on the master or what it is really.. but I find that Ableton just doesn’t sound as good when doing the mix, lacks depth somehow.. anybody here that experiences the same and has overcome this with some tricks/ magic somehow? thinking about getting a 2nd daw just for mixing.
Mine is a powerful single-click bounce in place system like Cubase and pro tools
Hey guys i see topics on the subject but nothing that recently. Wondering since launch whats your opinion? Any regrets? Did you go standalone or controller? I have been trying so hard to hold off but since they put a couple 100 dollar discount on standalone im wondering if i should get one. I have a synthstrom deluge that i love but would love to have the extra features of ableton in a box if its worth it. I still think they cheaped the hell out on cpu and should have put at least a i5 in there but if i upgrade later your looking at over the cost of the controller version to upgrade. On the other hand i can only assume sales are not that great for such a new product they put a sale on the stand alones already. Any opinions and thoughts most welcome thanks guys.
Curious to know what everyone would pick!
