my (20f) roommates are a couple (20-25f) (20-25m) and they have 2 pit bulls under a year old. One is a girl, called C, and the other is a boy, called B. They keep B and C in their kennels without a bed all nights and most days (they tear up the beds put in the kennels). They are let out to go to the bathroom and to eat during dinner time. Despite given bathroom breaks, B constantly goes both #1 and #2 in his kennel. He is punished for this. C throws up in her kennel and is punished as well, though this doesn’t happen as often as B. Neither dogs are neutered and they are left unsupervised outside, but punished if they let their hormones run. I think they are let out 2-4 times a day to go to the bathroom, they are fed once a day and they have a water bowl every time they go outside. Am i overreacting for thinking the dogs deserve to be let out during the day and roam the house? Should i mind my own business? Or are these dogs in need of better care?
I really want to get fantail goldfish. I feel like aquarium fish matches my lifestyle and personality best.
But I'm considering not getting pet fish because I dont want to support kidnapping fish from their natural habitats.
What are your thoughts about this?
I’m still young (26 years old female), but never had a romantic relationship. Can you live alone your whole life with a pet (cat/dog/…)?
Are here people who did/are doing this? How old are you and how long do you live alone?
I love (small) dogs but I don’t think this is practical as I work fulltime and live in a flat. Is this possible? Or is a cat more practical?
Anyone who wants to share their opinion/advice?
